You must just have a much bigger water Volume at the output Pipe...only then it might work...so connect a second bottle at the water outlet and fill it additionally with water....

You have bottle too full & intake submerged. Atmospheric pressure blocking flow. To force water up straw, youd need suction caused by the gravity pulling water. But the suction is blocked by the water being over the top of the yellow straw in the bottle. When you uncapped it pressure/atmospheric pressure released & gravity brought all water to level.

What if you take the orange straw the outflow and extend it into the reservoir breaking the water tension would it create a circulation if it does create a circulation one could put a turbine at the elbow to create electricity possible

Soon after you filled the water and released your finger, air bubbles entered the bottle from the outlet side. Hence your arrangement was not airtight and hence the result is not conclusive. Please repeat the experiment with complete air tight arrangement and observe the result. Your set up was neat and clean; good.
to make that thing work is all about the right computation of water volume inside the bottle, the right size of bottle, and with a help vacuum plus the right height of the bottle above the ground just to work the law of gravity... to make it simple.. water volume/bottle size, intake pipe/length/size, output pipe/length/size. The last and the most important is you must completely sure that it is air tight, meaning the only way that can past through the bottle with water and past through out is the intake and output pipe.. correct me if Im wrong or if there is missing with my explanation P.S. I made that thing work with the help of science and math and im using it now in my fish tank..
All these non-stop electricity-free pumps won't work without turning bottles upside down, human intervention is needed or in this case, opening the cap. That is what you have the pump for, to push water to climb up to and do its cycle. You cant have just 2 straws or hose connected and expect the water to climb up, go back or be sucked back in to continue the cycle. Those who say this works without any human intervention after setup must do a step by step unedited, unfiltered video because a lot are claiming 'non-stop', that is, until you need to turn the bottles lol.

Noop. Size of tubes does not matter at all. No siphon can lift any water to a higher level, regardless of tube sizes.
