Its not fueled by engineers hate, but by mechanics hate, because the engineers over complicate stuff and design parts to break especially in really unreachable spots. This in turn infuriates the owner that has to spend his holiday money, pension, kids study fund and his first born to pay for the insane amounts of money in parts and labor.

Personally, I think you went easy on them. Minimal mention of the absence of indicator use, no mention of using two parking bays at once - presumably when all the disability bays are already occupied by a BMW, Audi etc. Abusing the right turn lane as a means to skip the lengthy queue in the lane for the direction they actually want to go - I'm sure we've all seen them actually use those mythical BMW indicators as they stick the nose of their car in front of yours ensuring you can't prevent them skipping the queue, and quite often blocking two lanes because waiting, traffic and other peoples in general are beneath them. These people are low-key sociopaths and a menace.

I was unfortunate enough to witness with my mother a BMW sitting in one of two disabled parking spaces after we left a furniture shop and *none* of the two occupants were in a wheelchair. Yes, luckily there was a second one. My mother quickly let me know BMW drivers have a bad reputation which I already knew of. I personally don't know any BMW driver but if I did they would know better than to occupy a spot that someone like *me* might need. In other words, not ALL BMW drivers act like entitled jerks.
