Found a box of crystals in my alley once. Showed them to my gf, my sister, and my mom. They all said something akin to “Wow those look like some powerful crystals.” People will try to find a source of power or strength wherever they can. I personally find strength in watching my dog’s ears flop around while she’s walking.

When I kept a large collection, I sometimes had people select crystals and place them on something like a zentangle 2D universe drawing I had done so that I could "read their energy." I don't know how accurate it was, but I sure had a lot of people tell interesting stories about how the crystals could read their lives! ...perhaps that's what fortune tellers do?
