Превосходное видео, очень подробное и, что лично мне крайне нравится, имеет большой список использованных источников. Единственное значимое "но": некоторые силы на карте имеют схожую цветовую палитру и потому крайне тяжело различимы между собой (ОУН-Б и Батальоны хлопские, например). Can I ask how do you find your sources, researching about this war and your depiction of it through mapping seems to be very accurate, but I can't find enough sources, because some of them are missing if I try to search them in the web, I haven't tried using Ukrainian language though.
I usually just googling "Naumov raids" or "UIA in Zaporizhzhia region", and other also you can check wikipedia sources.
Good work! This gotta be the most detailed mapping video on the history of Ukraine in WW2!

По інформації казати не буду, оскільки ніц, окрім співпраці Лозового козацтва на Поліссі з КПЗУ не знаю, але дуже вдячний за показ повстань ОУН та загалом українців в 1939.
Але найкраще, це напевно ваше уміння створити ту атмосферу перед великою подією, перед Німецько-совєтською війною та походом УПА через Чехів (і Словаків) в Баварців.

Population
Small square without city name: Population less than 20k
Circle: Population less 50k (The city of Kolky is an exception)
Square: Population more than 50k
Circle with stroke: Population more than 100k
The city with borders: Population is higher than 500k peoples, or square is more than 400 km²

Never knew the OUN-B seized cities as far east as Kirovohrad, Kryvyi Rih and Dnipro(petrovsk) in the first days of the German invasion!
Not what you'd expect given that the OUN more generally is often stereotyped as being mainly a western Ukrainian organization.
OUN-B had 3 main centers of operations in Eastern Ukraine- Dnipro(petrovsk) especially during german occupation, Sumy as they managed to kick off insurgency there even under soviet occupation and Donetsk, from which their only 100 men unit present in the region escaped to Kuban.
@@National-Democrat.Ukrainian I remember reading about Banderites in the Kuban who styled themselves as the "Cossack Insurgent Army": were they the 100-man unit originally from Donetsk that you mentioned?
@@GCarty80 Yes! Those were the ones. Though funnily enough another, actually native Cossack Insurgent Army (named Kuban Organization- Cossack Insurgent Army) existed in Kuban in early 1920-s with it's last unit being destroyed in 1932. Banderites of donetsk obviously axed the "Kuban Organization" part of the name after arriving.
@@National-Democrat.Ukrainian What was the orientation of that first Cossack Insurgent Army: pro-Ukraine, pro-independence, or White (ie anti-Bolshevik Russian nationalist)?
@@GCarty80 Throughoutly pro-independence, pro-whites were quickly and effectively purged in june 1921 and pro-ukrainians weren't even a consideration.

Закарпатська Україна наче як була показана на самому початку (після прологу)

Do you have any information on the Soviet long retreat from Lviv through Dubno from 1 to 15 July 1941. (7:43 to 7:50). Was it the 6th Army retreat after the battle of Lviv. Thanks
Unfortunately, I hardly remember the information that I was looking for almost a year ago, but I do remember that it was one of the encircled armies that was forced to break through to the front in the Korosten area

Majority of annexed territores to the Ukrainian SSR were Ukrainians. It was celebrated due to the opressive policy of Romania towards native population, but they didn't realise that Soviets aren't better. The same was in the west of Ukraine occupied by Poland
