I just recieved this beauty today. Smells stunning, great projection and longevity. I didn't know br 540 had been reformulated, when did this happen? I'm pleased I didn't shell out big $$ for the real deal in that case. I'm more than happy with this dupe it's lovely indeed. Cheers from Qld

@@TheScentFreak totally agree about the bottle, not as likely to smash if it's dropped either. The perfume is so lovely.
I have this. It is VERY medicinal. Especially if you read the notes it has seaweed, and if reeks of iodine. Iodine is not metallic but once you become aware of this note you won't be able to unsmell it. Spoiled it for me and ir can be off putting for some. But on the positive side it's very sweet and sour. Strong af.
Hi, thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts on amber rouge. It is definitely better performing then the reformulated br540 batches now. I get 6ish hours on my skin and longer on clothes, hair ect. I do think this fragrance is such a good affordable dupe for br540. Paying upwards of $400 for the OG and it smelling of alcohol and water is just not good enough. I’m so happy I found this scent and will continue to restock it. Thanks again do much for sharing. I love hearing your experiences with these fragrances. Much ❤️ xx
540 after reformulation is a scam, hell…clones are doing better for cheaper! Cloud is like $50 (USD) and lasts twice as much as 540, Amber Rouge is $60-70 (USD), Amber Rouge performs so much better and won’t make you go anosmic. It lasts me at least 9 hours, and that’s because I shower xD
Hi Jack, thanks for watching. I couldn’t agree more with you. It’s just not the same fragrance anymore. Certainly not worth over $300 AUD a bottle. I was so happy i accidentally stumbled across amber rouge! What an awesome surprise. I will definitely have this one in my collection forever, instead of br540.
@@TheScentFreak Exactly! Orientica Amber Rouge and Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge are two extremely solid clones. I heard the new Armaf Untold is also really good but it’s really hard to find!
IKR they really are 2 of the best. Have you tried OAKSHA sweven? That one is really good too. It’s also an extrait concentration so super strong and reasonably priced too.
After struggling to accept the poor performance of BR540 after reformulation I am in search of dupe which last as long as baccarat used to does. I am curious on projection/longevity of amber rouge 🤔
Hi Adam. Thanks for watching. Iv only tried it now for about a week. I wouldn’t say it was a beast performer by any means, but it’s not a skin scent either. I had to reapply after the 4-5 hour mark which for the price point comparison I didn’t think was too bad. On my skin it still performed much better then the reformulated br540. However it did not perform like the beast br540 once was. I would happily continue to purchase this one as the scent itself is so unbelievably spot on to its predecessor. Perhaps you could grab a sample and try it for a day or two to see how it’s performance goes on your skin? The saving grace for me with amber rouge is that I could actually smell the OG br540 and I didn’t think I ever would again. Minus approx $400ish $$$.
