The part where Marco talks about the "greek grapes" planted in ancient Italy is interesting but quite possibly wrong. As far as I know, none of todays greek grape varietals is remotely related to Greco, Grechetto, Aglianico etc. MY theory is this: The greeks of the Magna Graecia liked the indigenous grapes/wines so much, that the ancient italic people started referring to them as "greek" or "hellenic". So maybe it was the other way around! Great video, thank you.
