I think the original Angel is something that need only be sprayed 3 times on a naked body, and then covered up with clothing (or not - your choice). It's so strong that it almost needs a layer of material to buffer the projection. Otherwise, like you said Yana, it can be thoroughly overwhelming. The edt, not so much. Eau Croisiere is definitely a bikini scent to me. Fun on a bun! In the sun... ⛱️
Your mother looks like Catherine Deneuve who is a famous French actress. The scarf is just lovely.
I have worn Angel since 1992 and have an early 2000's version. Maybe I should try the body cream if it as strong as your mother says.

Year's ago a co-worker wore Angel...it wasn't for her. Over the next few years, I inquired of 2 separate people what they were wearing: it was Angel. I figured a test was in order. I tried it, love it. It goes spicy, sexy, kind of soapy on me, it's what I wear frequently. The croissere wasn't for me. ❤

Many people have been telling me Eau Croisiere is a good fragrance. I've just been reluctant to try because I'm afraid it'd be too feminine.

Eau Croisiere became my first Mugler fragrance, I think it is quite different from the original Angel. I don't even like fruity fragrances that much but this slightly tart mango is just sooo delicious! 😋 I love the gradient orange bottle design too 🥭

I like the Angel lotion and body cream, also Angel Muse. I have the eau Croisiere and like it a lot, and a sample of the new Angel edt -- of these two I prefer the eau Croisiere. I think they should make the eau Croisiere part of the permanent collection. I like the opening on the new Angel edt, but not sure it's full bottle worthy for me yet.

Absolutely agree with your distaste for Angel. I LOVE patchouli and have tried many times, year after year to sample Angel on my skin. But it is just so horrific and nauseating the intensity. Not to be defeated, I finally found a flanker of Angel I can wear! Angel Eau Sucree! You and your Mother adorable. Laura

The original Angel- on the drydown on my skin is manly but oriental sweet feels a minty scent also
