O6 and you didn't experience it? I was born in 03 and experienced this, although I was on the Internet starting at age 3. Were you not allowed online until you were like 13 or something, or you just never found your way to this side of the Internet back then?
@@goodday3431 I havent found my way around the internet like I do now. Maybe when I was like 15-16 is when I started getting really into trance music like this, hard trance, and dream trance. But the reason is how I found trance is before I knew about it i was really into like UK hardcore and that, and digging through youtube I stumbled across a mix somewhat like this, but I think it was a whole mix of DJ Splash songs. I just love the sound of trance and I am greatful that there are mixes like this.
not everyone is 15 years old saying this. i was probably a baby when this all came out, but i did listen to trance around 12 years old. this person might actually remember the 2000s bcs they were lucid. @s8wc3
Was a teenage weeb in the later 00s, kind of ya I just wish the MP3s used for these were higher quality but that is the authentic limewire experience, sometimes you download MP3s that sounded not so great and with 10 dollar ear buds it seemed acceptable enough at the time
2000's era internet was fantastic. No social media yet, so it was basically just used to play multiplayer games, download subbed anime episodes, and listen to tons of eurodance music.
MSN + Skyblog and stuff like that was the only "social media" and it wasn't toxic bc u could choose who you wanna talk to. It was like a bubble. But a huge and comfortable one. Miss those days so much.
As a '95 baby, this speaks to me so HARD!! I got to experience the switch from analog to digital, and I always remember the early days of TH-cam and Newgrounds, playing Neopets/Gaia Online, Maplestory, AIM, surfing forums and seeing everyone's signatures, the random eurobeat anthems, discovering music artists on Myspace, pimping out my profile, etc..What a time! I wish I could re-experience everything again the way I experienced it back then, at least for a day haha.
I'm so glad this era of music is still around and making a present day comeback. "New" trends are OUT, the good old days of music and video games are IN!
@@xxcrazyrainbow02xx yeah, vocaloid is one big example, may be we think that it's cool to like something orginal and cool when those thing is usually for nerd back then, but seem like it all go around for me

This brought me back to a whole time and genre I forgot I was a fan of. As soon as I saw the title and thumbnail, I knew what I was in for. Everything feels so different to me now, yet I still really like it. It's a relief to know some things never change.
this video threw me all the way back to my childhood. There was this game i played called ATI spot the difference and it had pictures of anime characters and had this type of music playing in the background. I always kept it on bc i liked how the music sounded lolll. Im only 24 so my experience in the early 00s is limited but i do remember this vibe of music very well, thank you for this mix
I hear this and my mind instantly starts playing those videos made in movie maker with slides of anime images in super low quality and the same transitions every time aaahh so nostalgic
Please do upload the undistorted edition alongside as well! The compilation slaps but having to dig out all the tracks and mix them again on my own is a bit of a PITA :P
Nice track listing. it includes many of famous genre's in 90 to 00s , you can feel emotions and feelings in that era while listen this music. i recommend listen original version of this musics, what a wonderful era. my best track is Pulsedriver - Galaxy
This was truly the best time when internet was something like "a gray area (zone)", as I can describe it in my language. It means that there were no any kinds of control or moderation and the government didn't pay too much attention for it. The warmest memories visit my mind from there. I didn't live those times (born in 2007) but I remember being in internet on the early 10s. I remember the era of letsplays, creepypasta, SCPs, early russian Minecraft community (the true meaning of this may understand only post-soviet countries citizens I guess), SAMP and, one of my best favourited music genres - Nightcore. I'm so happy that I do not accept nowadays tik tok trends and other trash popular things today, but each month (not year) I feel myself more lost than before. All that is because I go further and further from those times which will never be repeated because internet never will be born again. I dream more and more about creating time machine or something, but really I often ask myself: "Why wasn't I born in 90s?" Guys, the best thing we can do is not just crying. Let's promote this culture to the masses again. I see that there are lot of memes and mixes with old trance/eurodance/nightcore songs being created in this year. We must support them at least morally.
