Think about it twice. Those ships, often hit whales and other water mammals (which kills them), are very noisy (which disturbs the signals by which whales communicate) and disturb the fishing waters of the small communities that cannot survive without fishing. Its beautiful and I get why people want to go there....but these gigantic cruise ship actively participate to the destruction of a precious and fragile ecosystem.

Wish we would be told what’s happening with our June cruise. Final payment is in March and I’m not making it till I know for sure what’s happening.
Canada has banned cruises until Feb 2022. so if your leaving from Vancouver, its a no go. Heartbreaking I know!

@@ykMMD , I live here in Alaska where these ships come to, our Alaska is not even close to being destroyed! Take care of your area craphole! Your clueless about our Alaska! By the way been up here the past 40 years.
Actually it’s a lot like BC. Yes I have been to Alaska 3 times on cruises. One was with Celebrity. I do need to go on a cruise that does one way, rather than round trips. Maybe then I could actually see that Alaska is different.
And you know, do it a way that doesn't destroy a fragile ecosystem like those cruise ship do...

Hearing confirmed rumors Celebrity has canceled Dedicated Butler service for Sky Suite and Aqua Suite guests who have already paid, for that well advertised, amenity!? Celebrity needs to explain ASAP since this appears and feels very predatory! It needs to be grandfathered for guests already paid in full or a healthy refund!
