her in-ear monitor stopped working so she couldn’t hear the instrumental being played.. and since the speakers are facing the audience, if she tried to sing she’d be on a delay. this was a very bad situation for her.
Her inner ear monitors were not working, and singers need those to hear the music in these types of performances. With them not working she couldn't hear the music to know when to start singing and to stay in time.
This isn’t even true.. 😭 it was a technical error, she wasn’t able to hear the music properly to be able to sing along to. It would’ve been off key and out of time
She didn’t loose her voice, she just couldn’t hear herself at all. 2016 was literally one of her best singing years of last decade. There’s dozens upon dozens of performances from that year that proves it 100%.
