Blender cleaning hack. As soon as you're done using it, just pop a few drops of dish soap and some water in it and blend that for a few seconds and it'll clean your blender for you. Genius and simple. Particularly helpful for the fluted type you have I would imagine.
A little caution though as too much hot water in a blender can cause too much tension without an air escape lol

@@taylorwynn We've had laminate floors for 20 years, and we only use vinegar mixed with hot water to clean our floors. We dry it with old towels. This sounds labor intensive, but it cleans the floors without leaving a residue!

I love that she put out the cleaning home stuff first, because atleast I am more likely to buy things from her recommendation on cleaning stuff because it's got a use, and sometimes it's a bit scary to try a new cleaning product especially when money is tight. I would love to see home decor too but I appreciate her putting out this one first as her recommendations mean more to me on these type of products if that makes sense

I bet dawn sells more because we also now use this in the laundry room. Easy to spray on to treat any grease based stain.
You can clean sinks tubs and showers as well wo harsh chemicals, I have asthma so game changer, just use a lil clorox clean up on any mildew
A little tip about blenders….once you’ve done your smoothie, add some warm water to your empty blender and run it for a few second. It makes it so easier to clean. I do that with my Vitamix and works wonder!
I also add a wee bit of soap! Clean as a whistle!

I hear you about cleaning! I just decided, after dreaming about it forever, to hire someone to come in to clean twice a month. I only have a limited amount of time when I'm not in a severe state of dealing w illness. Cleaning takes me a loooong time, and it always sucks when I spend my limited time "up" cleaning. Just started, but looking forward to not worrying about anything but the basic day-to day clean-up! Loved this and would love a decor version! xx from Bend😊💙

The best thing I ever did was hire someone to clean my house! They come over every other week and they’re done in two hours. If I was doing it, it would take me a week to just clean the bathroom because of my damn arthritis.
Agreed! I have a bunch of chronic conditions that cause chronic pain and fatigue, having someone else clean so I have more spoons leftover to do fun things is so so worth it ❤ best decision ever!

Robot vacuums are a game changer!! Never going back. I also stopped using scent boosters after I learned they often leave waxy residue in your machine and on your clothes.
Did you know that even normal detergent leaves a waxy residue on your clothes? My husband and I have bad allergies and can tell when all the residues aren't removed. It takes 2 vinegar wash cycles not even a rinse to remove residues of even the gentle non powder detergents.
I love Dawn powerwash. That’s actually what I use to clean my bathtub lol. Anytime I use bath bombs and bubble bars, especially anything with some oils in it, the stains can be brutal. Powerwash cleans like magic!
Cleaning products - minimalist style: Mr Clean's Clean Freak, Barkeeper's Friend, Lysol liquid for hard floors, and a 91% isopropyl alcohol mix (70% alcohol, 30% wayer, can add a couple drops of Dawn dishwashing liquid) (great disinfectant and window/mirror/glass cleaner), and Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. Been using these for ages! That's it. It covers all the cleaning needs.
For floor cleaner - I love the Mrs. Meyers concentrates! the bottle has lasted forever and smells amazing. I believe it's the Honeysuckle scent

Dawn dish soap and a magic eraser should brighten the white ring on your blender. I'm also a big fan of barkeepers friend liquid!
You can use the liquid on rubber type material? I’ve only ever used it on my sink lol
Best way to clean a blender is to just blend soapy water in there. That may get all the ridges clean for you

Thank you for the coffee machine rec. I rarely use any of our other ones now. Definitely makes a better cup of coffee than most quick brew options.
I'm a ninja coffee brewer Stan. My boyfriend got me one for Christmas years ago and every time I've needed to replace it I've gotten another ninja. They definitely brew a better cup because they have a built in "blooming" setting. The machine automatically blooms the grounds before it brews them. This allows for a smoother, fuller, richer taste without the usual bitterness and acidity. Now, I'm not sure if ALL of their machines do this, but every one I've had does.
Stain review champ of all time is Folex!!!!! Carpets couches etc!!! I swear by it.
This was surprisingly super helpful. I was just diagnosed with RA and have had neck and shoulder surgery years ago. It’s great to know helpful gadgets cause I also have to divide days for cleaning.
Taylor, try the dawn power wash on grease stains on laundry. Gets out makeup too. Pretreat and wash with tide hygiene clean. Saved my husband’s jeans, stained with grease, cooking oil and asphalt.

The Beautiful appliance line at Walmart is so good and come in great colors. I bought a house last year and wanted pretty appliances for my countertop and the air fryer is by far my favorite.
The plates! We got that set for our wedding & get so many compliments anytime we have people over. Classic, simple, and sturdy.
The Mr. Clean Multi-surface cleaner is what I use for mopping. Never going back to anything else and so many good scents to choose from!

My favorite floor cleaner is Fabuloso in the yellow, lemon scent. It smells fresh and clean to me, as does the whole house. I have smooth porcelain tiles downstairs and in bathrooms. I only use about a 1/4 cup (my guess-timate) in a gallon of water and use the O'Cedar spin mop. It's one of the few that doesn't leave streaks.
My second favorite cleaner is Mr. Clean aĺl purpose cleaner in the bottle, also yellow and smells like a clean scent.
My second favorite is the Libman Wonder mop with the cut up orange strands. It's light weight and also doesn't leave streaks. I use this on the wood floors upstairs with Method wood floor cleaner in Almond. Also, clean smelling.

I'm laughing because I use SO many of these things (and I feel old to be excited over cleaning/home products). I have multiple sizes of the glass straws and use them for everything; that hand-held Black & Decker vacuum gets used constantly in my house; and I have and love both of those O Cedar mops😂

The reason that The Beast Mini's jar container has those ridges INSIDE of it, is because there needs to be an uneven surface to help blend whatever food is inside VERSUS it having a smooth surface (in order for) the blender to be able to more easily break down the contents of the food.
So if you throw an apple against a smooth surface I'm sure it will make a dent in the apple and the apple will remain intact BUT if you throw an apple against a sharp and uneven type of surface there is more opportunity for the apple to actually break apart..
The roborock mops and vacuums it’s my addiction. I have 3 pets so having it was life changinggg. It’s just so expensive but I think it’s worth it.

This is so random Taylor, but if you see this - I just saw an ad for the type of blender you have with the ridges on the inside, and apparently those help increase the "turbulence" within the blend to create a smoother end product. lol it would annoy the crap out of me to clean, though! ❤

The shark steam mop is perfect 🙌🏼 I’ve been using it for years. Cleans floors so well with just water and has reusable cloth pads.
I use the Mrs. Meyers multi-surface concentrate (in honeysuckle but whatever scent you like would work obvs, I use about 1 TBSP in hot water) in my o-cedar spray mop, been using it for 5+ years and I think it does a great job!
For a floor cleaner I recommend the blue pine sol in sparkling wave. Smells incredible!
The bissel sanitizing floor cleaner is my fav.
I really like the Mr. Clean again all purpose cleaner for mopping. Smells amazing and you can add more or less depending on how strong of a smell you want.

I bought glass straws from your link years ago. I especially love them for iced coffee in a tall mason jar. I broke my first one the other day and it was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. I dropped it on tile and it was like an icicle falling on concrete. It disintegrated! I still use and love them. But it was wild.

As far as cleaning supplies go, you can save a ton of money by just using one all-purpose cleaning concentrate for almost everything and only specializing where you have to.
I have reusable spray bottles that I just re-fill with dilutions of simple green and water. I use the same thing on my floors, surfaces, shower, everything that isn’t hardwood or greasy. For kitchen messes, I use dawn dish soap.
Really the only specialized cleaners I have are for hardwoods (Murphy’s oil soap) and toilet bowl cleaner.
Loved this! As someone who suffers from chronic pain I always appreciate any idea to help. I’m fused in 2 levels on the very bottom of my back so I can’t bend or lift like I use to. So thank you❤

Cleaning hack, I’m also a cleaning geek and I found a great hack. Method Daily shower cleaner is invaluable. It really does work to keep your shower/bath clean. I really only clean my shower maybe once a month and it’s not really needing it……. It somehow keeps the shower clean if you spray your area in shower or bath and apply on walls also. I even spray in sink bowls also and it helps. They have two scents and both are good but not overly scented. I’ve also got spray on my skin and it doesn’t irritate my skin.

I use a steam mop, so it cleans the floors with steam. It’s bottom heavy( but the whole mop is really light) it works great! I purchased it on amazon

One of my favorite floor cleaner is the Method Squirt n Mop wood floor cleaner. Does a great job, smells great, doesn't leave a weird residue like most floor cleaners

The foaming dish soap is so easy to make up at home! It makes regular dish soap last soooo much longer!
Came here to say the same. Found recipes on Pinterest using Dawn platinum liquid dish soap + water + splash of isopropyl alcohol! Ends up being less than 1/4 cost of buying premade refills.
The Dawn spray is amazing, I have probably been through 6 so far. I also find it helpful for deepcleaning counters and my fridge by spraying the area down with Dawn first.

I have used Pinesol my whole life. I have used it both at home and in several restaurant dining rooms/kitchens. It’s cheap, leaves no grease and I personally live the smell.
