Seeing your grandma and her friend dancing in the club was so joyful! My grandparents are 90 and their cognitive and physical abilities have drastically declined in the past few years. It is so heartwarming to see people out enjoying themselves and making the most of their life at all ages.

What absolute legends!! My mum goes on holiday with her golf friends who are 15-20 years older than her and she is often the sober one getting her 80yr old friends back to their hotel at 2am when she would normally be asleep by 10:30 😂
Love the lust for life at any age but especially in older people.

Something about seeing those two beautiful women celebrate their 80th birthdays in a NYC rooftop club with light up horns made me tear up. I think turning 35 has made me feel like life is downhill now, but that scene gave me so much hope for the future.

It's ageism and sexism in western society in general that makes us feel like life is over at 35 or 40. It's complete BS. (I'm 42.)

I'm turning 70 soon & I friggin' love your videos. I enjoy how comfortable you are in front of the camera & how easy it is to just sit & relax while watching your content but today, I washed my makeup brushes while I watched your video. I was so impressed how much walking your gramma & her friend did with you on this trip - way to go & a good reminder for me to stay active everyday too!

I lived here (NYC) for nearly 30 years. M from Ireland originally, and we can just tell when someone is lost. NY can be confusing so you feel like you have to help, partly to keep someone safe, but also to help them not get super lost or ripped off. 😉🗽

It's very inspiring watching you travel with a chronic illness, particularly taking time to rest in your hotel room/air bnb when you need to and not give in to the pressure of go go go seeing and doing everything in a new place. I tend to just go with the plan of the day and end up hitting the wall eventually. I need to learn from you to carve out my rest time.

I just wanted to thank you for making a video with @Cash Jordan the last time you were in NYC. Ever since then I have not missed a video of his and I absolutely LOVE seeing the NY rental scene even though I have no intention of moving there. It just fascinates me! So thank you for seeking him out and introducing us to more quality TH-camrs! This vlog was really great and I hope to have a BFF to travel with like your Grandma does. It's really great that you are able to spend so much quality time with your family since you started the nomad thing. I love that for you! 🖤🖤🖤

It's nice to be able to get three generations together and go out on the town. I get to live vicariously through you, because, even though I do have a living grandmother and several aunts of the same generation, they're not as fun and open minded as your grandma. I was hanging out at my uncle's house one time (he was 90 at that point) and his house guest, a former coworker of his, told me, point blank, in front of everyone "why are you saying here with us geezers, at your age?" I was 19. "You should be out, making love, having fun." Like, yeah... super appropriate thing to say to someone she had only met two days prior. Then she proceeded to tell about how, she technically got married at 16, because she was already dating her future husband, and they soon moved in together. She also told me he was older, so he had a motorcycle, and she would just ride it around, by herself, aged 16, no license. I didn't say anything, I was just stunned.

Your mom, grandma, and Carol were the stars of the show in this video! Honestly, at 73 I'd never be able to walk 6-9 miles in a day and I don't even consider myself sedentary. On second thought, it is NY and there is shopping involved. Maybe I could 😉. You go, Girls! Life is short and this isn't a "dress rehearsal"!! Great video covering so many things, Taylor!

100% agree with you about the friendliness/kindness in NYC. I was just there with my best friend for a foodie/girls' trip and if it hadn't been for the kind woman in LaGuardia, we still would be wandering around in two different terminals!! We also ate at Amelie's but the food apex moment was the cronut from Dominique Ansel's bakery.

firstly beautiful editing, your vlogs are always so astetic i really feel like i get some insight in the atmosphere of where you travel ❤❤❤ also very relaxing vibes which i honestly think is more important than the length of the video.
(i just wanna chill when i watch a vlog so i don't really watch vlogs that feel hectic only relaxing ones). With that being said i feel that longer vlogs like this one goes well with the relaxing/chill vibes of the vlog itself since you would either sit with a cup of tea and wind down a bit while watching (what i usually do) or do some chores while listening - in either case i think a longer video gives more time to really get into that relaxed zone/mental space. But i really don't see a problem with some vlogs being long, short or somewhere in-between. I think variying the length could be a good way to balance out your work so if you just uploaded some/a video that took a lot of time and effort to make you can then post a shorter vlog to help balance out your work scedule. If you decide to go exclusively with long vlogs (i suspects vlogs are quiet time consuming to make) then i think you should upload them less frequently. I hope i am not overstepping in mentioning work-life-balance but i hope that support from the community has played a small part in your improved life-work-balance

For the question at the end, I watch all your videos but my preferred video length is medium. Like between 15-35mins. hence why I'm a couple days late to watch this one, there needed to be enough free time in my day. Most of the time I watch your videos while eating lunch, which is my favorite! I really appreciate the effort you put in! It's noticeable.♥👍👍

I have found that any time I've visited NYC, the people are so helpful. If you look confused at all, someone almost always will offer to help, especially in the subway.
