So... notes on flying any f5 model. 1. Keep your speed around .85-.9 mach for dogfights. The airframe performs best around it. 2. None of the f5 variants get all aspect missles, and only the E model gets a decent pulling variant (20g aim 9j I believe.) Use them for unaware players. 3. You are a gunboat with a ton of ammo. Learn the guns, love the guns. 4. For you specifically. When fighting at any missle br, you need to be constantly checking your 6 for missles when you're in the thick of it. Otherwise, guaranteed back to hanger.
@Stalinium777 check age of post before responding with something that has clearly been aged out. That post was from the prior patch in which the f5 for Japan didn't exist.

Please note; The F5C has "AIM9E sidewinders" which only pull about 10gs, which are shit. 10g missiles have to be flying blindly in a straight line or just unaware players. also lead your missile shots, back to the mention of "10Gs" these missiles can be dodged with even the slightest pull from Gs, unlike the R60s with 30Gs they'll do well. Edit: I'm not sure if you do have these binded, but make sure your pitch axis is binded, usually pitch up would be shift and down control, these will help in dogfights especially in free-look. nice vid :)

As a tip my man, Dont shoot the aim 9E when in dogfights, and when your still turning on someone's tail, it only pulls 10Gs
