I was just saying this! The quality of employees has gone down drastically in recent years. Not that it was great before, but at least they were trained to pretend to be friendly. There are rare exceptions, which I appreciate.
I think it's because they focus on hiring "neurodiverse" people, who previously were not considered when we had sane hiring practices. It is pretty obvious my local Walmart focuses on this and it is really entertaining to watch when I'm going through the self checkout and they can't mess up my stuff, but I witness their interactions with others.
I have two McDonald's in equal distance but opposite directions from my house, both absolutely suck, EXCEPT at the crack of dawn, one of them has elderly working their morning shift and every single one of them are super nice and friendly, I've never had anything wrong from them and they would routinely make the end to my nightshift much better as I'd get food on the way home. I assume it's just a bunch of retirees looking for something to do, but I wish more people had their attitudes.
I don't even go to the Wendy's near me. Occasionally I used to get a slightly older person who was super friendly but the last few months the new hires literally say nothing. "Can I help you?" - drivethru "Hey, (places order)" - Me "Alright, pull around." - drive thru ".....ok." - me "That'll be x amount." - drivethru (Gives money) - me (Gives order) I immediately noticed that's not a iced black coffee but a cup of milk and diabetes. I've corrected them in the past....I'm tired of doing it. (Drives off forever into the sunset)
I have a constant battle with my local Dunkin’ Donuts, one day I ordered a everything bagel sandwich, it got rung up as a plain bagel and they gave me a croissant sandwich. I was too stunned for the level of incompetence
I never trust the drive-throughs. Been burned just like this too many times. I always go inside and order now. They pay attention more and realize when your dealing with a 6’2” 215lb jacked man and his food, it’s best not to FAFO
I welcome the AI drive through order taker, and the robot chefs making and bagging my order. Here in Canada all our fast food workers are temporary foreign workers, so assume what you will by that information
Here a lot of the fast food workers are teenagers on drugs. The hiring standards have never been great but the last couple years it has gone down the shitter.
That's why I stopped working in restaurants. Ship a bunch of Brazilians over and pay them 13 bucks an hour without tax, then people like me get screwed because they don't want to pay the person who actually works hard a decent wage. I work in a corporate run grocery store now and I'm having a much better experience. Everyone actually speaks english.
@Unicornpirate I do uber and doordash and I love it. Store after store treats you like a fungus but these motherfuckers gotta inquire and act like theyre happy to do so.
This is EXACTLY why I stopped going to Taco Bell. I could deal with the increased prices, the long drive-thru wait time, etc., but when they can’t get my simple 2 item order correct 3 times out of 5… nope. I held out for years thinking they’d figure it out, but it never happened.
Same. I rarely go to drive-thrus/fast food anymore. I'm a pretty good cook, so whenever I have a craving for something like a burger, I go buy the beef for it and make it myself. Same for burritos and tacos.
I've said "it is on the receipt" many times when they try to claim I didn't order what I say I did. Even then they act like I'm the jerk for wanting my order correct, and I always act nice about it and thank them. I always ask for a receipt now because half the time they don't give me one. I always ask for no ice in my drink, and I feel bad mentioning it again if they don't put that on the drive through screen, because some of the time they say they heard it and they will remember, so I feel like a jerk for bringing it up. But then half the time they didn't hear it or don't care and give me a disgusted look when I say at the window that I asked for no ice. I actually had a guy argue with me about it. He then gave me a half-full drink and stared at me like he thought he would intimidate me. That is the only time I've gotten openly angry at one of them. After I was done with him, they fired him.
Thinking about the number of times Jeremy has shown the Ryan stream clip and he's still laughing at it, but also thinking about what it was like watching it in the original stream wondering how long Ryan was going to be at Fizzoli's, especially considering, I THINK this was when he was driving cross country, so critical drive time was lost.
I went through a Wendy’s drive-through and my bill was $9.xx so I handed them $10.xx to get rid of some change. It hogged the cashier up so bad she called the manager over just to be told to give me $1 bill in return.
Every fuckin time I go to Taco Bell this happens. Assholes with zero customer service skills forgetting half the order, or they forget the sauces, or they forget utensils. You have one job people. I'm with Ryan on this.
Been my experience around here that people are polite and friendly, I think it depends where you live. Anybody else remember Pesci's rant in Lethal Weapon 2 about drive throughs?
I’ve noticed the people working night shift do way better. It’s usually people hustling and working a second job so they give a shit and have basic manners. Anytime I’ve bought fast food during the day it’s always a shit experience (In-N-Out and Chick-fil-A being the exception).
Did you all hear about the Taco Bell where they "say" that someone working there opened a rat trap and took the poison out and put it in a costumers food. They say the cops shut down the store and cuffed every worker there.
Nashville is probably the best at drive thru and fast food talking to you and if forget help you out. Always outliars but Nashville their good about it
I won't feel bad at all when the fast food workers get replaced by automation. I've worked fast food, I've seen bad customers but I've also seen terrible employees, they think they are the most important people ever. Bring in the robots, at least they don't get shit wrong and then still complain afterwards.
Perhaps we should refer to him as Ryan Leo Getz Kinel now (heh heh). 😁 But seriously, this is why I only use the drive-thru if I absolutely must. And if these fast food chains stop taking customised orders altogether due to the inability of their staff to adapt, the majority of their business would disappear in a heartbeat. 🤨
The quality of fast food workers has gone downhill, hell just yesterday I was at Dunkin, inside the store, and got 3 of the Almond Croissants, and the women only put 2 in the bag, no one else was there so it didn't take long to get it fixed but how do you fuck up something that simple in the first place? It's not like I ordered some overcustomized drink with everything but kitchen sink in it.
I worked my ass off for $13 an hour at McDonald's. I always did my best not to fuck up an order, I tried to make the burgers look decent and not like a mess thrown together in 10 seconds... it was just McDonald's, sure, but it was my job and even 17 year old me knew that I had to bust my ass and work if I wanted my money. Seeing this pisses me off
Ryan screaming about the fucked up drive thru shit is how I feel also, about alot more things than just shitty fast food. I feel a kindred connection hearing him scream FUUUUUUUUUUUCK at the top of his lungs its so refreshing.
Ryan's female counterpart. 😆
His real wife
@@Davidofthelost His secret wife.
Ryan looks like a RETARD
His soul mate.
And his stepson 😂
Just a reminder that these are the people that want $20 an hour when they can’t even get a simple order right.
Plus a tip
And they all complain and talk crap about "bad" customers who want their order right.
It's sad, because *some* of them are SUPER good and nice. They actually deserve more. But the majority seem to be pricks like this.
Here in cali they got it
@@metalmugenjust the tip 😮😮
Ryan be like "call me step daddy"
Ryan has found his true love. This is so wonderful. They can take on drive-thru workers together ❤
Also, Ryan's "And these STUPID, FUCKING, PRIICKS!" Is my inner spirit animal on a near daily basis.
Spirit animal or spite animal? Both work.
@ … what did I say? 😐
@@ASoberBear “sprite”. I knew what you meant ;)
female Ryan exists... you two NEED to meet...
"its dark.. it was daylight" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was the funniest thing to me. It went from broad daylight to stark night lmao.
ryan should do vlogs, i think his life would be pretty entertaining.
Omg yes
Both Ryan and that woman should do a Taco Bell drive thru collab. The meltdown over the wrong order would be legendary.
I was just saying this! The quality of employees has gone down drastically in recent years. Not that it was great before, but at least they were trained to pretend to be friendly. There are rare exceptions, which I appreciate.

This is too real.
Too relatable😅
Imagine Ryan working next to these people on a nuclear warship 😂😂😂😂 we’d all be dead.

Ryan found his future wife.
On top of bad service, drive thrus have gotten so much slower at getting us our food.
Always love Jeremy's joy at Ryan's pain 😂
The Leo/Lethal Weapon 4 anger displayed in this video was felt by all this day lol

"temporary" LMAO.
Ryan's drive through rage is rivaled only by his Mario Kart rage.
Chick-fila always polite. Otherwise, replace them with robots.
Because its in their policy. The company forces them to be nice to the customers and say things like "my pleasure"

Dumb cashiers that can't do basic math.
Hogged?????
@mclark23 regional slang, interchangeable with screwed.
Ryan , find her and marry her
This girl after they got her order wrong, circled the building and went in front of a car at the window instead of going inside like a normal person.
Crazy thought, don't eat out, it's a rip off and the people doing it hate it because they're treated like trash by the majority of the public.
Should try In-N-Out Ryan! They're very nice and it's always correct.

Ryan found his soulmate.
Such a peaceful man, Ryan
My Taco Bell is on point. I think they've only messed up my order a single time, and I go there usually once a week.
Ryan is the nicest and most polite customer with "Yes Ma'am", "Please" and "Thank you", yet for some reason these places ALWAYS f*ck up his order.
I just go out of my way to be overly friendly, and check my order before so drive off, and it usually turns out fine 🤷🏻♂️
Been my experience around here that people are polite and friendly, I think it depends where you live. Anybody else remember Pesci's rant in Lethal Weapon 2 about drive throughs?
Ryan's clap just makes the video
Never use the drive-through, always go in.

Lol Ryan is the BEST
I have the same thing Ryan and it's why I only go to Culver's now. They are always polite and they don't mess up my order
“It’s fucking good” 🥖

They talk about Ryan’s big forehead. But they forget about Christina ricci
im on the chick's side. half the reason i go to chikfila is for the fact they actually look you in the eye and speak to you
Put a Ring 💍 on it Ryan! It’s time for you to settle down.
Ryan is my spirit animal
Check your bag before you leave and don't move from that drivethrough spot until it's correct. Easy.
This is why I no longer go to fast food.
I can confirm those breadsticks rock!
Ryan eyes don't have the white part. It's 100% pupils.
this is why you don't drive away from the window before you have verified everything you ordered is in your sack.
The ghost of Leo Getz inhabited Ryan, I see.
Rule #1. Never pull away from the window without checking the bag.
Just propose to her right now Ryan, this is your woman
