15:22, I'd follow the plans to build the kit. It's said, when all else fails, read the instructions!!! Thank you for creating this video. I bought this kit quite a while ago. The box wasn't damaged, but the person I bought it from had opened the box. So, I was compelled to open the box myself to make sure it was what I bought and that it was all there. Your video will help me to properly fit everything back into the box because I've decided to sell it. I have to many hobbies and interests that this model will never get built by me. Thanks again!!!
Just as a funny update to this now 10 year old review. The kit is actually fully built now when I spoke to Ernie last week. He was actually thinking about making a video once it's been painted. No promises.
Hello,Jim. I bought one last week. As I noticed, the oadwheels are empty on the inboard side. So, I will have to make a mold of one face, and cast resin "backs". And, you may hvae noticed the rear deck grill hatch handles are ribs.Fortunately, at this scale, making correct replacements with very large wire will be easy. The kit includes the 75 mm gun and mantlet, so I am going to build that version.I was tempted to scratch it into an M32B3, but maybe later,.
Ernie, I also own the Bradley From 21st Century and sadly it is Underscaled! It's more like 1/7th than 1/6th. I have the Sherman as well and next to each other you can see a big difference. Did you finish the Build? Would like to see it!
what is it for radio control more than likely , here is some thing how about someone scratch build a full scale engine and the works from front to the rear that is something I would pay to see
UHM, sorry to burst your book knowledge bubble but there were only 2 Editions of Richard's book. 1976 and 1978. The edition that came out 5 years ago was a bootleg that was being blown around. Also, be honest, a GOOD copy of the book runs about 400$ and they are considered rare.
got mine a month ago. halfway through now. its a pain in the ass. next to nothing instructions, parts dont fit together right. for professional builders only !
its a novel idea but as a model maker i wouldnt buy this kit...one its just too big...too much paint and glue would be needed plus why wouldnt you include a nicely detailed interior and engine since your working in such large scale you really could recreate the real thing...you lost me at "its just a blown up 1/35 scale kit" not worth it
Art Mccomeskey I agree. Yes large models are nice, but something this big takes up to much room once its built. No interior is definatly a downside. Something this large just begs to be super-detailed. Please excuse the poor spelling

Wow, that's a monster. I'd love to get my hands on one of those.
So, Dragon can put texture and serial/cast numbers on 1/35th scale tanks but can't put it on a 1/6th scale tank? Interesting.
@Jackson Louie Yea, I have been watching on instaflixxer for years myself :D

You should feature some of the more exotic 1/6 finery like the AH demag etc..
Lordy lordy. Look at the size of that bugger. Me wife will kill me if I get one. =)
holy hell! that's one big kit.
Any links to buy the 1/6 kits please
Have you got a link to buy one please
They sell at that scale and where can I get it?
That huge!!
I have to also have the big question, how much? I know that is not a cheap build.
Has anyone completed the kit yet ?
I have purchased one and not had the balls to start it yet lol
Any points to look for gang ?
Great review! What a biggie!
Erine whys the box look longer on screen before you open it up.
Camera perspective. It's not like we switched boxes! :D
Hi out there, where can I bye a 1/6 scale Sherman tank ready to go,ive been looking for 3 months,I mean in US or Canada? thank you.
Maurice
How many tubes of glue should I buy for this?
what is it for radio control more than likely , here is some thing how about someone scratch build a full scale engine and the works from front to the rear that is something I would pay to see
Yeah, about that....The Bradley is NOT 1/6th scale. It is about 1/7th.
Gotta ask, how many dollars?
could you tell me how long it is and wide

Is there a build video for this model?
Sadly no. We did start the process of building it back in 2013, but it's still unfinished. Ernie! Finish it. :)
WOW-WEE GUYS, YOU MIGHT ITs WELL BOUGHT A REAL TANK. I BOUGHT THE 21 CENTURY TAN ALMOST TEN YEARS AGO. GOOD LUCK WITH THIS MONSTER....
Can I offer these? I live in yangon . Myanmar. Can you suggest how to contact?
when yo first look at the upper hull yo u say thairs a casting mark at the front closest to yo, it is actually on the propper tank,.
The gun barrel that is not the 105mm barrel is a 75mm barrel not a 76mm barrel.
That's the 105 howitzer dide
got a 1/35th sherman, g that thing is big,.
would take a lifetime just to do the tracks.
Did they ever answer you? Do you still need the measurements? I'll post them if needed.
Coming back to this 2023 and notice this guys don't answer any questions. Forum is dead.
Hmm? We never posted many comments on TH-cam. It's... TH-cam! :D
Our real forums are very much alive at forums.kitmaker.net
How much this tank cost?
It was $400 or so when we made the video. A search on Google will probably yield some retailers stocking it. We don't sell kits FYI. ;)
It's a shame its not pre painted
It's a model kit you need to build it
got mine a month ago. halfway through now. its a pain in the ass. next to nothing instructions, parts dont fit together right. for professional builders only !
Seems pretty straight forward to me. Very rewarding adding detail. I added casting texture to the forward hull, and it came out nice.
So small I have a 1/100 scale Sherman mine is bigger
Umm... lol. Do you mean 1/1 scale? 1/100 scale is smaller than 1/6 scale. Just saying. :D
@@Kitmaker no my sherman is 1/100 scale and is bigger mine fits in my hand but yours fits on your body
Look at the end time of the video "1940" lol
HA
