It's definitely possible. He's got the talent and especially at his age, he can only get better. Given the there's only 3 manufacturers in the sport right now with Toyota and Hyundai being the major hitters, he's already aligned himself with a team that is capable of winning the title.
New to modern era rally. I last watched it when there was many teams back in 90's. Why is there now only 3? Yes, he will mature into being better than his dad...
@@Blade4Life76 Only three think it's worth the trouble to make a WRC car. It cost a lot, much more than in the 90s since the cars are nowhere near road cars unlike the Group As. And they can't sell them the way manufactures did in the 90s, where the exact same cars as the world champions drove was driven by local heroes with a big budget. However, R5 is really big, which is being used in both WRC2 and WRC3. They are a bit slower, but have way more manufactures, such as Skoda, Citroen, Peugeot, Ford, and more (and a few with less support from the factories but still being made, such as the Mitsubishi Mirage).

Hyundai has really stepped up big time. It’s good and sad at the same time. Growing up with the EVO’s and Subarus and see them retreat like this from WRC. but keep it up Hyundai.
Car is much faster. Ford will get new engine update mayby to the next rally then well see closer racing. Wouldnt yet say Oliver is faster than those guys but well see.

Oliver Solberg was IMPRESSIVE !!!
He seems to be the whole package for teams and sponsors. Fast and a great personality for interviews.
Amazing young man. Now that's what you call a potential world Champion. Bet his dads so proud.
Hopefully we see him again in wrc
He was spectacular. That power stage was outstanding and how quickly he was learning. Very impressed
He will undoubtedly be a great champion. Greetings from Colombia, South America.

these guys produce some seriously epic quality videos
Nice production! Thanks! 🙂
I dont' wanna hear 1 person say he's had this all handed to him. He earned it! Every step of the way he did it on his own!

Does anybody know the music track you can hear at around 1 minute?
