The Australian hillclimb (I think) with Alastair McRae looks like a riot!!!! What I love about hillclimb is that it’s always like a mad dash across North Yorkshire between tractors 🚜
That’s from the Leadfoot Festival held at Rod Millen’s place in New Zealand. I’ve seen an earlier version of that car race in the Queenstown Race To The Sky and even back then it was insane!
That Roger Feghali run is ridiculous in the evo 6; just perfect. How does he keep the car perfectly glued on that slippery tarmac? Through the narrow track with jutting concrete buildings and steel poles in the middle of town as well. Top run, I believe he won that race as well.
Roger Feghali was burning through that City without any faults in absolute perfection. Never saw a driver driving in that way maybe Walther Röhrl is the absolute Master but Roger Feghali is close behind him.
EVERY time I see that footage of Alistair McRae in the Impreza I have to double check the playback speed is set to normal and not 1.5x. That thing is disturbingly fast 🤯

I’d assumed it was a H pattern, but couldn’t be sure his left foot was depressing the clutch it was all happening so fast.
