You just made me realize that school isn't that bad, the only sad thing about my school is not having clubs or activities aside from the original classes, still I'll try to enjoy this year as much as I can !

This is so true. People remember the friends they met, not the work they learned. Be friendly. Say hi to strangers. Introduce yourself. Take yourself lightly. Be funny. The more you talk to people the better you'll feel about yourself.

I wish I had this channel when I was your age! I think high school would’ve been a lot more fun if I thought like this. Im a junior in college and I think some of this advice could apply to my classes too :) keep up what you’re doing, it’s great!

The school itself isn’t bad but having to wake up from 5:40 am and return to home at 3:30 pm is just tiring, and living in a really hot climate all the year just makes you tired if you went for a walk for 2 minutes, I come back exhausted and teachers expect us to solve homework at home, work on researches, reviewing all other what we took in school and be prepared for the next day, how am I supposed to understand both physics, biology and mathematics and I don’t have the power to, and the time isn’t enough like night is at 7:00 pm so how I can still have a healthy lifestyle, enough sleep, and good grades ( although I like school and the process of learning )

I get it but it could always be worse. At least you can get home at 3:30pm instead of 7 or 8pm. Keep being positive 🙏🙏
Im after moving and met so much lovely people thanks to your videos, i used to think I have social anxiety and there’s nothing I can do but I feel much more comfortable speaking with others, I don’t do it perfectly sometimes idk what to say but the fact I try makes myself proud. This summer was so fun I’m looking forward to school tbh

This is great advice. Though I have big exams this year, I am looking forward to this school year. My thoughts on school is it has to be done so we may as well make the most out of it academically and socially.
A big tip I have is if you have anxiety, get involved with events but behind the scenes. For me I have a multimedia class where we have a school news show and I get to go to a bunch of events and film people instead of having to be the one who’s doing all the socialization. It makes me feel involved but it’s not as scary, and it’s also easier to talk to people if it’s for a reason for something like that. So join something like yearbook or the school newspaper. It also gives a lot of experience for once you get into the “real world”.

idk how old you are, but maybe get a social job like a cashier? it made me so much more social. you could complement strangers, or if that's to hard walk up to someone and ask a direction or where something is in a store. maybe start with old people, idk why but grannies are so nice and talkative xD

When I’m on the bus I simply put my headphones in and don’t talk to anyone who sits next to me. I’m thinking I might change this bad habit, but I’m very awkward around others. I don’t know how to keep a convo going
If you say hi at least that'll help a ton it made me feel better when I was on the bus
now my school has made it where you cant talk into the hallways and only during lunch, but im scared to go a table with a bunch of random kids lol. But i'll definitely try! thanks for this advice

I have severe social anxiety. This video was NOT intended for people like me. "Talk to people" Nuh uh I'm not having a breakdown. Girly this may help some people, but this ain't a cure. I don't like keeping track of my thoughts in a journal. I take them out in stories, more creative ways. Just an idea for people who don't like writing in journals but want to express their thoughts in a way. I write stories, make games, draw, I'm writing a film script (idk how i keep up with myself). Journalling isn't just a pencil and a notebook, it can be more creative than that if you want to. Of course, just journaling is perfectly fine too.
But haha jokes on you (in a playful way), I do online school because of an... incident... so I'm never IN school.
Honestly, no hate, just not for me ^^
