I still love that Mac was the hero in this. He's been so overlooked for so long and pushed aside in favour of the mob. This was so fitting because Ryan messed with his girl for so long. The only thing that would've made these scenes better is if Ryan was holding Felicia in this moment instead of Ava. Love Mac and Felicia
I agree. Mac has been wasted on the show even when he was police commissoner. He was never allowed the chance to save the say like Burt Ramsey, Robert Scorpio, Anna Devane, and Sean Donnelly.
Seriously, why does Mac always sound like he just did a massive whippit? I haven't watched the show in a while, but he never used to sound like this at all, with or without the Australian accent.
Because he's older, and voice changes with age. David Canary (Adam and Stuart Chandler) on AMC sounded completely different when he first joined the show. His voice was higher and smoother, and he had slightly different voices for Adam and Stuart; Adam's voice was deeper and more in the chest, while Stuart's voice was slightly higher and more in the throat. But as David got older his voice became much lower and raspier, and he did the same voice for both characters as he couldn't really do his "Stuart voice" anymore. (RIP)
You're kidding Ryan made the show fun now it's boring again. They even took off Victor and Heather, I wanna see crazy Kevin or Brainwashed Ryan return as a Cassadine super assassin going after all the hypocrites. Also Ava is kind of lame with Ryan gone.

They already started using him like Hannibal Lecter with Ava playing Clarice, would have been fun to see him in a Chucky Tiffany/ Gomez/Morticia relationship with Ava or Heather Webber. Or as the Government Hitman he actually is instead of one noting him into Faison/Franco slasher obsessed clone. Ryan being Ava's hitman would have made a great mob war if she wanted to take power Jason and Luke can't hang with a DVX agent vet like Ryan and Cassadines need not apply only badass Cassadine was Helena the rest are weak. Even actually developing a relationship with Kevin would have been a change instead of Kevin being a pompous ass and condescending to him. We could have even had a Daddy/Daughter arch with Esme finding out what really happened to him and not people running off at the mouth about Ryan's past to justify being hypocritical. Even a twist about Heather kidnapping Ava's baby with "Richard" and it being Esme would have been fun.
