OMG you are awesome x I just opened my key up to compare with casings on eBay. Found exact one. Then realigned the broken micro switch and put old one back together and it's working again.....should last until new one arrives x

May I ask , where exactly is the light that lights up when you press a button. I have the circuit board in front of me a a big magnifying glass and I cannot see this light or any sign of an LED etc. Thank you.
there called tactile switches not micro however your bang on the money after doing this kind of repair for many years I can say this is the way I would approach this repair

Hi, do you have any electrical schematics for this board? I'm trying to fix one, but i've lost one of the pads, but i don't know to where it goes to make a jumper. It really seems that goes to nowhere.

Hi David, where did you get the key case from? I had dropped my key for my Citroen Belingo and it got run over, now can only lock it not unlock it. Another great video, and very useful advice. Thank you.
