It's always funny how when people are caught up in anger they feel they have a righteous cause. These dark stories are a perfect example of why Jonathan and Martha Kent were the best things to ever happen to that little Kryptonian boy that fell from space.

I like how Lois in her story was essentially injustice superman but cranked up to 20.
So basically it doesn’t matter if Superman or Lois dies, the world goes to hell if either of them holds any kind of power

@@DarkSharingan21 Thing I loved about New 52 Superman was that he was a Self Made Man, Had been through the hard times and knew how to Grieve having done it before even putting on a Cape. Sure he was a little aloof when it came to Humanity but Silver-age Aloof Superman was best Superman IMO. You can't see the Big Picture if have your face too close to the canvas all the time.

The storylines of Tales From The Dark Multiverse really proved that:
"You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain."
In Infinite Crisis,Blue Beetle died but Justice League eventually came out successful. In the Dark Multiverse, Blue Beetle survived but he used everyone as his puppets and killed Booster Gold. Same outcome in case of Teen Titans The Judas Contract.

@Aggelos Anastasoulakis we're gonna have to agree to disagree there. I find Kingdom Come and even more so All Star Superman much better stories for example, should check them out if you haven't esp the latter of those. Injustice was rife with things that didn't really make sense and were bad just to be bad/have shock value with no real significance to the plot or done in a way that respects the characters, like Nightwing's death. Wonder Woman was butchered as a character with no real explanation and so were others like Damian and Shazam and even Hal Jordan to name a few. Many many times throughout the story it just feels like things are being done purely to get some reaction not because it's good writing. Plus isn't the whole point of *superhero* comics to show us what it means to be one, provide an *escape* from reality, and inspire us? Does a comic that for the most part does the opposite really equal the best one DC has made? Maybe it's the best superhero turned villain comic, can't say it's the best comic in general tho personally. It does have really good and cool moments esp in the beginning and I actually do really like the story as a whole but I don't think I'd even put it in the top 5. All that said I do understand why ppl have it as their favorite and don't think anyone has to agree with me, just all my humble opinion.

You know something's wrong when the universe that got the closest to a happy ending is the one where everyone is Lobo...

@Just Some Guy with a Mustache Tales from the Dark Multiverse Blackest Night didn't have a near happy ending. Lobo's bio structure and Sinestro's control of the white lantern ring wasn't accurate to save the universe. At the end, Sinestro tried to escape this horror,but Tempus Fuginaut stopped him.

These stories are really cool. Literally, all hell breaks loose. Since it's not the main storylines, the writers can be wild and crazy.
I kinda want to see stories with Martian Manhunter or Shazam going all out.

David Ortiz That’s the thing that makes dark multiverse stories so intriguing, you never know exactly what will happen. Take death of Superman for example: the obvious answer is to have doomsday kill Superman, and then the rest of the planet. But no, doomsday was never the threat, the irony is that Lois was the biggest threat. And who would have guessed the ending for blackest night?
The thing is, if they do flashpoint, expect a dead scrawny Superman. Because Superman is always killed in the dark multiverse.
If it was up to me to choose a selection of dark multiverse stories, I would choose kingdom come, flashpoint, dark knight returns, killing joke, and (and this one is highly unlikely) marvel vs dc crossover
1: Red Daughter of Krypton
2: Emerald Twilight
3: Batman: Hush
Red daughter of Krypton would probably be similar to the injustice universe except now it's Kara and not Clark. Emrald twilight would probably have paralax killing all the heroes and ruling the universe. And Batman hush might have Batman going through with killing joker and then Gordon would try to arrest Batman so Batman would kill Gordon then Batman would kill hush his entire rogues family. And anyone who tried to stop him like the batfamily and other heroes. Basically he'd become Omega from the last Knight on earth storyline. Ruling over his city with an iron fist killing all criminals. He'd kinda be a cross between Omega and azreal from the knightfall dark multiverse story.

I personally think a Dark Multiverse Red Daughter of Krypton story would have Supergirl, as a Red Lantern, being her usual self while like that before an incident causes her to fuse with The Butcher but she can't control it.

What i like about the dark universe is that it shows how hard it is to be a superhero, thats theres a fine line to walk of what heros are and not ..its really cool honestly to see the others heros in the dark mutlivurse literally move one degree from light to dark and they are not longer a hero . .

I wanna see a dark multiverse version of Dark Knight Returns. We know that Superman did kill Batman because of one scene in the main story where evil Supermen capture Superman and Batman. One of the evil Supermen is wearing the armor from Dark Knight Returns
I think that's the batman where he gets choked on jokers gas I know this is old but yeah that Batman is actually the worse of the worse on any given universe it's the metal universe if I remember

all of them were pretty cool, until I read the one about Terra. That was so incredibly farfetched; killing Superman by hoarding Kryptonite? There’s no implication where she got it from, she just has it and kills him with ease. Every other hero is then fodder in contrast to her which is pretty absurd given the roster that DC has, but I am likely just reading too much into it given that most of the roster in those scenarios have killed or aided in killing a lot of people. But that scenario with Terra just simply didn’t sit quite right with me as a reader.
kryptonite is a mineral found in the dc universes earths it has been proven before terra controls minerals

this is definitely my favorite thing to listen to because i love comics and I don't have the money to get them and hearing you read them for fellow comic lovers is what I genuinely love about this channel
The truth is, we live in the dark multiverse. No heroes, only villains, no alternate universes that we can yet get to or yet interact with.
I thought that part was interesting, where the computer said that if there is no heros, there would be no villains

These stories are amazing really. I had a kick when they did the multiverse alternate Batmans, but adding these makes me want more. Tbh they all end on a very sad note and I have to hold back my tears but I have to remind myself that these are not taken place in the main earth.
I think it would be cool for a raven dark Multi verse were trigon comes into there world and raven some how takes his power and rules over earth
There is one story that Raven does bring him into the universe and rules beside him, at least I thought so. Still, I like your idea. It would be poet justice by her father's standards, since he wants her to be more like him.

Someone doesn't remember Death of Superman. Most of those Heroes were ether dead at the time, Too far away to help or Incapacitated. The only Hero who was there was The Guardian. Doomsday had wiped the Floor with the Keiren/Giffen Justice League.

What makes this work though is that its few and far between. And in the between periods, we get vanilla stuff that further deepens our understanding of the characters. So when shit like this comes out, it's the shit. Plus, with less stuff like this, we don't get burnt out of
When superboy prime came in to the room and took everyone out, that was the very first time a comic book has ever made me flinch.
If they do more I really want a Dark Universe version of Battle for the Cowl. Imagine if Grayson lost on the train and Todd became batman.
I would love to see the war of light be turned into a twisted and evil dark multi-verse story or maybe an evil And twisted version of the super sons
Thank you for making these videos! All my life I have had a reading comprehension problem . It was really fun in school. So much to the point that I couldn't remember what I read. That is the reason why I didn't read many comics growing up. But I always have loved the characters. This is why I like your videos hearing you read them out loud I can understand what's going on in the story. Thank you and keep up the good work

I love how the dark multiverse version of the Black Corps is a mix of Last of US and AOT. Dove being Ellie, Lobo being Joel, and Dr Miracle representing the people that thought they could use her to fix everything

Nah, these aren't realistic either, Louis isn't smart enough to become the Red Daughter, Blue Beetle would've probably found another way to survive, Tarra DEFINITELY would've gotten stopped by Superman or someone stronger because we all know she can't control Kryptonite, not even with that stuff Slade had, etc, the only one I'd see happening is the Lobo one tbh lol, still kinda sad Dove dies tho :/
They arent realistic cause batman isnt irrational he actually thinks before doing something. Second just cause of alot superheros lose doesnt mean its realistic do u think one person can out smart the whole of justice league. You really think superboy can take on whole of teen titans with a literal copy of him in it. People are irrationally stupid in this world.

What really irks me is that The Erradicator told Louis that he did not make it in time to save Superman, but we see Superman alive before he actually died. The Erradicator would not make that mistake, since he would know if he is truly dead or not.
I would say batman is the strongest hero (atleast mentally) he has a plan to beat every super hero including superman

The son of Bane is great, id love to see Turn interact with Damian in the main continuity in Titans
The Batman one with Azriel had too much suspension of disbelief. I don't think that Batman would've kept his cool long enough to betray the two if he was that broken by Azriel.

I want to see them do a tales from the dark multiverse superboy prime. Like a complete series combining all of the best superboy prime stories. I know he's a character you either love or hate, but he's been involved in some great stories as a great villain for the heroes of DC
The background music is a little too loud in places imo.... I'm half deaf already, but, it was hard for me to hear some of bennys words when the epica crescended.

There is nothing more than i enjoy than watching superheros die in horrible ways, not because it messed up...mostly, but because it so satisfying to se a villian not only win but completely dominate and control it all through any means neccesary

The Lois story was good but the obvious is that she lost sight of her mission when she began to murder.she wasn't upholding superman's legacy or memory but cruelly dishonering them.

also, terra would never beat superman, and the fact that she was supposedly able to "summon" kryptonite, apparently a whole fking wave of it, even tho its a crystal, its not from earth and even the small bits that may have hit earth i sincerely doubt she would be able to control it, because its more like otherworldly glass, and is clearly not within the paramiters of her powers, but ofc plot armor.
I really like this kid turn, bane and lady Shiva's son, I find it hard to believe he would be killed so easy, his mom is one of the best if not the best fighter pair that with his dads strength, imagine a more flexible younger bane that is just as good as batman at hand to hand and he has natural venom....no he wouldn't die that easy, I hope they bring the kid back maybe into the main dc universe because he is a good kid he tried to save Gotham. Tempest should have grabbed him up.
