Charles man I always enjoy your vidios I have scraped most of my life but at 77 it's getting tough most of mine is automotive mainly for the weight I drive about 90 miles round trip to the scrap yard.i try to have 4000 lbs to make it worth the trip. My least favorite to do is the alinumn radiators to get the best price you must remove the plastic tanks thanks for your time charles.
Belive it or not, that is the same style scale I use to weigh bins at my compound for shipping it out. It is only 1 pound off (light) but it works and makes it easy to watch the scrap yards on there scales. As far as least fun to process I have to say compressor motors/refrigerant motors. It does pay out when you process the for copper but it's the time to do it. When your hustling it's hard to take time to get them done. I actually have went to getting boxes for the smaller ones now and I'm only processing the larger central air or bigger conditioner units for the copper and will sell the smaller units as refrigerate motors, i also purchased a older freon machine to remove it and I resell the freon to hvac company. #happyscrapping
used to take apart fan motors and all Motors that I could. But then I found out that basically if you take a motor in just as a motor without taking it apart without digging out the copper you still get paid more than shred. Sometimes not much more but more is better than less. But I do dislike taking apart motors, and microwaves. Two of my least favorite. So Motors and microwaves are definitely two of my least favorite. And I am trained in hazardous recycling so I know exactly how to and what not to recycle in a microwave. And my favorite scrap yards here in the Orlando area are CMC, and TMR. They usually pay more for electric motors than anyone else
Another great vid! Where I am here in Perth, Western Australia, there are so many piles of bulk trash around with a lot of scrap. I assume the juice aint worth the squeeze on shred stuff here.
Funny how you find the same Walmart fans and outdoor furniture in Florida as I find in central Ohio. I know I found at least 35 of those grey fans this year.
For me, processing drive thru speaker boxes is my least favorite. Most times they are a juicey piece of extruded aluminum, but they are filled with sound deadening foam and its REALLY glued in there. Very difficult but I can't pass it up. Window acs are bad too. Great video once again sir.
I live in England and we are expecting snow and ice in the next few weeks. It's colder in the morning & night & it gets dark by 6.45pm. People are trying not to put the heating on due to the high cost of gas and electricity bills
My least favorite thing to scrap would be cast aluminum bodied power tools. You cannot fully clean them so I will sell them dirty aluminum and not try and clean anything off of them. I have a couple more annoying things but can't think of them at the moment., LOL
Why throw away the pool pump and save the little fan motor? Also that cast-iron pipe also had lead in the fittings that all you have to do is hit it with a hammer and bust it and get the lead out.
Hello Charles . I'm a new subscriber just wondering how much scrap you find after bad weather comes through? Curious minds. I'm on Oklahoma and. O don't be live they do scrap out heat
Mr. Scrappity uses a pocket knife occasionally. But I think his subs send him clippers every once in awhile so I can’t say he carries one on him on the regular now so much. ✌🏼
I love the sound of your little truck!! At first, when I started watching-almost three years ago (😳!!⏳Where does it go??) I thought it was a bit noisy but it didn’t take much time before I found it soothing. The truck in the background in combo with your vibe is something that I find comforting. I often save these for bedtime!!😂 Sorry!! I always try to re-watch anything I sleep through. But, Wow! I’m getting….OLD!! I try to reply to anyone who comments negatively about the noise. I’m nice about it of course. I just share my two cents. I can’t change anyone’s mind! My former career was in behavioral modification…well, I’ll call it that so as not to sound like some kind of know-it-all! 😂 Love these videos, Charles. Thanks so much!! 🙏🏼✌🏼💕🛻💕
The round pedestal fans contain more plastic then metal ,with the base and the cage and blade all being usually plastic. It's easy to remove and provides a better product for my customer.
You do right Charles, 90% of the time people do not throw away perfectly good Table Saw's
Sealed units!!! Bloddy messy lol. Great video!!!
Thanks for watching!
Hi there Mr Florida Scrapper, If you soak the clippers invinegar and baking soda they will be as good as new!
Good morning, Charles! It's always a good day when you're gathering another load of scrap. Take care out there
You can hold the world together with those things! Love it!
I use to have a 72 Dodge truck,it was more zip ties then truck!🤣🤣🤣
Haha. Too funny
I'd welcome you to my scrapyard any day. You don't treat it as a garbage dump. You peel of all the non metal garbage. Good for you.
Charles….you do whatever makes your life happy. Not do what’s according others opinion….love your videos!! Keep on scrapping!
Thanks 👍
That funny-looking rake and shovel thing is kind of cute is actually a broken pooper-scooper
Almost got a glimpse of my favorite scrapper in that mirror. Maybe someday…

So enjoy your videos. You do such a good job. Stay safe and enjoy your weekend 😊
I always enjoy the ride. Have a great weekend Charles!
Great scrap day. Have a great weekend 😀🇨🇦
Thanks! You too!
@@Floridascrapper thank you

Stay strong and be safe everyone 🙏.

Nice interesting haul Mr Charles!
Thought I would weigh in on you video, you're doing a fine job at cleaning up the landfill.
Thanks 👍
The lucky dumpster area. I dig it.
I think the maintenance crew actually leave things out for me so they don't have to struggle to put them in the dumpster.🤣👍
Paul and Charles are my favorite scrappers I like to watch. Thank you both for all your videos. Keep them videos coming.
I have been scanning trash piles for years for a Hibachi grill. I never find one but see tons of them on scrap videos.
The world is unfair..😁
My least favorate things to take apart are aluminum bike frames. The pedals always put up a fight
Another great vid! Where I am here in Perth, Western Australia, there are so many piles of bulk trash around with a lot of scrap. I assume the juice aint worth the squeeze on shred stuff here.
🤙🤙👍 i quit the ceiling fans too 😁✌️
Still like to hear that truck run.
Funny how you find the same Walmart fans and outdoor furniture in Florida as I find in central Ohio. I know I found at least 35 of those grey fans this year.
I've missed you hope to see more scrapping

That was a miter saw not a table saw.😁 Jim's wood shop. Like your channel
The world is kept together with zipties and duct tape
I have both in my hurricane kit and my first aid kit.👍👍👍
@@Floridascrapper growing up near the navy base in ct it was eb green we had now everyone has duct tape
Maybe some “ABC” gum along with those two! 😂
First time watching your videos.
Mine is transmissions. The split rings are a pain the further you get.
Well done field stripping the fan! If you’re collecting electric motors, maybe get the motor out of the washer if it’s not too difficult.
Most of these modern washers and dryers have motors wound with aluminum wire, not worth the effort.
That was some hefty pipe!
Window air-conditioners are the worst. It's gotten to the point. I won't mess with them. Not enough money for the trouble.
I do watch mile the scavenger and Paul the pallet man. I know you must get alot of scrap.. good deal be careful and be safe
My Least favorite thing to process is Oily Engine motors
My least favorite thing to scrap would be cast aluminum bodied power tools. You cannot fully clean them so I will sell them dirty aluminum and not try and clean anything off of them. I have a couple more annoying things but can't think of them at the moment., LOL

It’s just a pleasure to watch your videos. 👍
God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸🇮🇱

Those old pumps can be more headaches than they are worth, as for busting up that cast iron pipe in my backyard. No thanks.
Keep up the good work
The scrap Gods were kind to you.
Hey Charles and happy new year
Hello Charles . I'm a new subscriber just wondering how much scrap you find after bad weather comes through? Curious minds. I'm on Oklahoma and. O don't be live they do scrap out heat
If you checked the saw and it worked, wouldn't you get "more" money than for scrap? 😊❤
Selling things found that are in good working order is the best way to make money but I enjoy the simplicity of scrapping. "Easy come, easy go".
My least favorite thing to do are the pre lit Christmas trees
The water pump have atbleast 4 pounds of copper at nearly 4 usd a pound
Good scrap day
Have a great weekend
You too
Good day Wow 82! 95 Thanks
Id love to know why none of the scrappers,(except Mike the Scavenger ) carry a pocket knife. Is it a legal thing or you just didnt think of it?
Mr. Scrappity uses a pocket knife occasionally. But I think his subs send him clippers every once in awhile so I can’t say he carries one on him on the regular now so much. ✌🏼
I do keep one in the truck if I need it.
Sounds like your truck needs a muffler lets hope you find one that fits.
It has one, it's called FlowMaster.🤣🤣🤣
She breathes nice and easy

Where are you? I'm from Tampa
👍
Love watching your video's, but i cringe at times the way you struggle to pack things in. 👍🇬🇧
Why do you break down round plastic fans and not square plastic fans?
The round pedestal fans contain more plastic then metal ,with the base and the cage and blade all being usually plastic. It's easy to remove and provides a better product for my customer.

I get it. You take care of them, they take care of you. Smart way to do business.
Why not take the leaf blower it has a motor in it
So does a vacuum cleaner, but I don't bring those home to process either.
😎👍👍👍
Sir. You realy need a bigger truck with a Hydraulic back end so you realy don't hur your self❤
nasty barbeque grills with free cockroaches! yuck
Ivlove scrapers caus you guys do make a big di6 in this world❤
I wouldn't call the dog poo tools "cute".
