Hello everyone!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 1000 SUBSCRIBERS!! I guess you could see this as my 1k subscriber special LMAO - I know this is a little different, but for this video I wanted to do something quick & easy, just to see if it was even possible. I spend such a long time on both my art and my editing, but I'm trying to lean into being imperfect, and stop myself from thinking that I have to have a final piece for every video, especially since I want to make sketchbook spread videos in the future anyways! I had a fun time doing this little Fairy OC Challenge, thank you Genesis for sending me this Tiktok! I hope to do more Tiktok challenges in the future :) Sorry for all the rambling in this one, clearly I had a lot on my mind LOL. I'm gonna try to have my next Sonic OC video done by next week, we'll be back to doing 5 characters for that one. I don't have much time till then so I'm not sure how I'll make it happen, but I just feel like my mindset has shifted recently and I am really prioritizing my art & my channel finally, so I believe I can do it!

A saying I learn about from one of my favorite art channel, Drawfree is: Delete your art. Since they are a digital artists, they don’t often do it (like traditional artists) but when they do it’s cause it’s not working out or they don’t like it.
It’s ok to start over Minty, don’t be too hard on yourself.

I would take more time to understand why you didn't like a first draft before you restart...or after you're done. There may be something consistent as to why you come up with a better idea later on in the process each time. I also think it could be cool to go back and finish the first draft just to see what it would look like (and also change-up color schemes so they're not too similar).
