Took a 6 axle in one like this quarry I love the quarry content on this game
Nice! And this is the Mother of all Quarries! :)
@@ZillaBlitzPC they are big enough to get lost in that's for sure
Haha, most definitely!
This was great, I've been waiting ages for u to do this, since I first mentioned it to you... didn't disappoint! 👍
Yes, thanks for the suggestion, it lived up to expectations and more! :)
What an awesome video, i actually popped some corn to watch this episode. =)
Glad you liked it Hissy! It was crazy fun to drive. :)
@13:45 New Mail, who would be sending new mail. The first thing I thought was possibly an Attorney advertising discounts on Will Services or a Funeral Home sending you a great Funeral Planning Deal.
Hahaha! It was actually an email letting me know that used trucks are a thing in the game now. :)
What a crazy drive! I'm gonna have to go through that quarry in my save to test myself. Seems kinda tricky though when you're getting stuck on invisible colliders along the way. I doubt I can manage any less than the 7% damage you got!
Also RIP stop sign at 16:40 😂
This was tons of fun and highly recommended. Such a great time. :)
That was an insane drive...completely mad. Loved every minute of it though!
Wasn't it nuts? So much fun. I hope all is well with you, Custard!
That was complete madness, I just thought you might have made it down, but I believed you would go off the edge on the way back. Amazingly you made it. Great fun.
This really was a fun drive, glad you enjoyed it too! :)
Ingame driven more then real life 🤪
Ha! :)
That quarry is immense! Felt sure that this would be the drive where you finally rolled a truck. Next challenge, do that quarry again with a triple trailer and winter mod + snow physics on 😂
It really is huge! I was surprised how long it took me to get down and back up, although I think I could do it faster now.
Snow mod with physics on would be insanely hard! :)
@@ZillaBlitzPC it would be, but not beyond ZillaSkillz. 😂
ZillaSkillz - I just amused myself haha.
Hahaha! :)
I was expecting a pretty spectacular tumble down the quarry. Maybe you could do one just to let us see what it looks like and then go back to a previous save lol.
We do have insurance in ATS, so a full 100% destroyed truck probably wouldn't be so hard to fix. I think I'd need a bit more money than I have now, though, just in case.
You sound like the guys on Top Gear; “What could possibly go wrong?”
Ha! Great show. :)
And I'm glad we made it to the top, that could have gone wrong in a lot of ways. :)
For science you should have just send it down to quarry😀. The engineer that i am based on my army branch i would have shown the Pionjär rock drill and anti tank mines for those big boulders in the middle if the road.
PS. There is couple truck related clips on my channel that could intrest you.
Haha! "For science!!!" That would have been awesome. Might need to go back. Real missed opportunity there. :)
I'll poke around on your channel, thanks!
So yeah I have a height issue also, there were points where I had to listen rather than watch...lol. Never going to try that myself so I'll just let you do it. My stomach was doing flips just watching. Of course coming off of two weeks of the flu didn't help.
Nice trip... I am looking forward to seeing the coast to coast mod as I've been considering it myself. Blessings
Ha! I'm glad you kind of liked it. ;) Just coming off a bad cold/the flu as well. I hope you feel 100% soon!
Yeah I've been down with high fever, dizzy, and the head and chest thing. But actually feeling better today. 15 days so feeling weak yet but hopefully recovery is in the process. Haven't gotten any real gameplay or videos done so maybe tomorrow I'll be up to it.@@ZillaBlitzPC
Oh, wow, that sounds really sick. I hope you feel better! My voice is still messed up, but other than that and coughing a bit, I'm full speed.
The 1.5 update for Euro Truck Simulator 2 brought several exciting additions and improvements:
1. **Electric Renault Range T**: The update introduced the electric variant of the Renault Range T truck, catering to environmentally conscious players.
2. **Reworked UI**: The user interface underwent significant improvements for better usability and aesthetics, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
3. **Mercedes MP5**: Players got the chance to experience driving the Mercedes MP5, adding another iconic truck model to the game's roster.
4. **Volvo FH**: Another notable addition was the Volvo FH truck, offering players more options and variety when choosing their preferred vehicle.
5. **FPS Limiter**: A new feature, the FPS limiter, was implemented to provide players with greater control over their gaming experience, especially on systems where performance needs to be managed.
6. **Switzerland Rework**: The update included a rework of the Switzerland region in the game, potentially expanding and enhancing the scenic routes and driving experiences available to players.
7. **Better Anti-Aliasing**: Improved anti-aliasing was introduced to enhance visual quality and reduce jagged edges, contributing to a smoother and more immersive gameplay experience.
These additions and improvements aimed to enrich the gameplay experience, offering players new content, enhanced visuals, and better performance optimization.
In American Truck Simulator (ATS), honking your horn serves multiple purposes, primarily to alert other drivers or pedestrians of your presence or to communicate with them. Here are some situations where it's appropriate to use your horn:
1. **Warning**: Use your horn to alert other drivers of potential dangers, such as when they're merging into your lane without seeing you or when they're about to make a sudden lane change.
2. **Acknowledgment**: You can use a quick beep to acknowledge a courteous or helpful gesture from another driver, such as letting you merge into their lane.
3. **Pedestrian Safety**: If pedestrians are crossing the road and may not have seen your truck, a quick beep can alert them to your presence.
4. **Traffic Situations**: In heavy traffic, a short beep can remind drivers ahead to start moving when the light turns green or when the traffic starts to flow.
5. **Expressing Frustration**: While not always recommended, some drivers use the horn to express frustration or annoyance, such as when another driver cuts them off or behaves recklessly. However, use this option sparingly and avoid escalating conflicts on the road.
Remember to use your horn judiciously and be mindful of local regulations regarding horn usage, as excessive honking can be considered noise pollution and may result in fines.
As of my last update in January 2022, the most popular and highly regarded mods for American Truck Simulator (ATS) version 1.49 might include:
1. **Coast to Coast Map:** Expands the map to include more areas of the United States, offering a broader range of routes and destinations.
2. **Realistic Graphics Mods:** Enhance the visual experience with improved textures, weather effects, and lighting.
3. **Truck Mods:** There are numerous truck mods available, ranging from realistic truck models to custom paint jobs and accessories.
4. **Sound Mods:** Improve the audio experience with realistic engine sounds, ambient noises, and more.
5. **Trailer Mods:** Add variety to your cargo hauling with custom trailers, including different types of loads and designs.
6. **Traffic Mods:** Enhance the realism of traffic behavior and density on the roads.
7. **Physics Mods:** Adjust the handling and physics of vehicles to better match real-world characteristics.
Keep in mind that the availability and compatibility of mods can vary based on the specific version of the game, so it's essential to verify compatibility and check for updates before installing any mods. Additionally, always download mods from reputable sources to ensure they are safe and free of malware.
Thanks Chat GPT! :)
I'd recommend you add Caribbean Map if you haven't already BEFORE you go to Key West. It revamps and remasters the Florida coast from Boca Raton to Miami, and also across the keys to Key West. Higher quality than the Coast to Coast version. That's in addition to adding the Caribbean islands.
Also make sure you stop in Chihuahua before you leave Mexico. Most impressive city in the mod. BTW that quarry drive was awesome. Don't know what was going on with the road textures, but I'll ask on their Discord.
Oh, that's good to know about the Caribbean Map. I'll definitely add that then, thanks. :)
I'll try to get to Chihuahua, but it might be nice to leave a few goals behind for the next trip.
The textures changed as soon as it started raining, so I suspect it has something to do with the recent weather changes to the base game that conflict with the mod.
@@ZillaBlitzPC The ferry killer addon for Caribbean Map updated today, so make sure you have the latest version when you go to add it.
Will do, I added it about 12 hours ago so I should be good, thanks! :)
Minimizing fines and damages in American Truck Simulator (ATS) requires careful attention to driving techniques, adherence to traffic laws, and proactive measures to prevent accidents. Here are some tips to help you minimize fines and damages while playing ATS:
1. **Obey Traffic Laws**: Follow all traffic laws, including speed limits, traffic signals, and road signs. Avoid running red lights, speeding, and making illegal maneuvers, as these can result in fines and penalties.
2. **Stay Alert**: Remain vigilant while driving and watch out for hazards such as other vehicles, pedestrians, and obstacles on the road. Avoid distractions like using your phone or adjusting settings while driving.
3. **Use Turn Signals**: Always use your turn signals to indicate your intentions when changing lanes, merging, or making turns. This alerts other drivers to your actions and reduces the risk of collisions.
4. **Maintain Safe Following Distance**: Keep a safe distance between your truck and the vehicle ahead to allow for sufficient stopping distance. This helps prevent rear-end collisions and reduces the likelihood of fines for tailgating.
5. **Watch Your Speed**: Pay attention to speed limits and adjust your speed accordingly, especially when driving through residential areas, construction zones, or school zones. Speeding can lead to fines and increased risk of accidents.
6. **Avoid Reckless Driving**: Refrain from reckless driving behaviors such as weaving in and out of traffic, cutting off other vehicles, or driving aggressively. These actions not only endanger yourself and others but also increase the likelihood of fines and damage to your truck.
7. **Take Care When Parking**: Exercise caution when parking your truck, especially in crowded areas or tight spaces. Take your time to maneuver carefully and avoid hitting curbs, signs, or other vehicles.
8. **Watch for Low Clearances**: Be mindful of low bridges, overpasses, and tunnels that may have height restrictions. Pay attention to warning signs and avoid routes that may pose a risk of damaging your truck.
9. **Use the GPS Route Advisor**: Utilize the GPS Route Advisor in ATS to plan your routes and avoid unexpected road hazards or restricted areas. This can help you navigate more safely and minimize the risk of fines and damage.
10. **Practice Defensive Driving**: Adopt a defensive driving mindset by anticipating potential hazards and being prepared to react safely. Stay focused on the road and be prepared to take evasive action if necessary to avoid accidents.
By following these tips and driving responsibly, you can minimize fines and damages while playing American Truck Simulator. Remember to prioritize safety at all times to ensure a successful and enjoyable driving experience.
How did the big dump trucks drive that road? Very entertaining! 😀
I know right? One can only wonder. :)
I'm going to start saying "Gah, damage!" when I really mean something else :D
It's a pretty handy phrase, come to think of it. I can think of like a dozen places I can use it on a daily basis. Really handy for work at the moment, too.
Charging stations also needs to be added in 1.5
Yeah, I wonder how they'll work that part out.
@@ZillaBlitzPC They will be like fuel stations
I think I'm gonna have to download the maps when I get home. I made a custom truck paint job for your kenworth truck is there a way I can send it to you on here
Definitely recommended, it's a lot of fun. :) ~ Very cool on the paint job! Thanks. My email is available on front page of the channel, if you click on the place where the channel information is. If the file isn't too big, you might be able to send it via email?
Ok great. I'll hopefully be home tomorrow and I will try sending it over hopefully it works.
So I'm not seeing where it shows me your email. I see a bluesy link and a Twitter link nut no email. Am I looking in the right place
Took me all day but I figured it out. I needed to be on an actual computer screen YT channels so that it would let me see your email. I sent it out hopefully it went threw and it works for you.
Oh, glad you figured it out! It's a bit tricky to find, and yeah, probably not easy at all on a phone. Got the email, I'll give it a shot this week, thanks! :)
The 3 comments i send you can help you improve your driving skils and make ats more enjoyable. Same things applies to ets2.
Thanks!
Are these maps on the steam workshop?
No, they are too big. Promods has its own site, but most of them (Mexico, etc.) can be downloaded here: truckymods.io/
How do we get mexico
