About the "wrong spark plug", I'm not a mechanical person either. You take the old one out and go to the hardware store, saying "I need another one of these."
Don't know the story behind the lazy son but it appears he could get off his butt & computer and do the yard work. I bet he never seen an old fashion push mower. Oh wait that mite be to much work for him seeing he looked ok at the door.
@@panders55- let me take a guess or two about your mowing escapades. “I had a rotary push mower to mow five acres around the house. After the first two hours, the callouses and blisters on my hands made it difficult to mow because the handles were so slippery with my blood, but I never gave up! When I finally finished, I had to sharpen the rotary blades and headed two miles down the road to grandma’s house, mowed her yard, walked two miles back home and started over at the beginning of the five acres. I wasn’t paid to do this work, I just did it!”
I would be embarrassed if someone was nice enough to clean my yard for free and my healthy looking son didn't help. Not sure when the video was made but if the son wasn't in school he needs to be working somewhere to help.his mom financially.
Perhaps you could teach the son how to get the info of the mowers spark plug and how to go to the store to get the right one? Maybe help him service thier mower? Thanks for the video!
My dad had a saying. There’s more than one way to skin a cat. I never liked that saying, but it’s appropriate for this video. Bless you, Erik, for your generous spirit.
Mr. Erik, you are the man !!! Those ramps ???!!! The company needs to use you for an ad. Bless your kind heart helping the other neighbor as well. Hope things going well for you and your's.
Someone in the past took a lot of time and put in a lot of work to make that yard beautiful! All that stacked stone is beautiful! The stone retaining walls and steps are so nice. Im glad you could make the yard look better and be safer for the neighborhood!😊❤
You need to take care of yourself Eric. Stop and take plenty of breaks and water. I really felt bad for you doing all this work in this heat. You need a baseball cap on or hat to protect yourself like the Aussies do from sunstroke.
Nice work Erik, I recommend wearing a light colored shirt instead of a black shirt when its hit and sunny. Makes a bit of difference.Get an old long dress shirt or something like that made of cotton.
Wow Eric you took a chance going up that hill on those ramps . Awesome video and with that heroic deed I just subscribed to your channel. Texas subscriber 😂😂😂😂Great video and job
Look up some tough ground covers! Ajuga, english ivy, any vine can grow on the ground too, creeping thyme, creeping periwinkle, that's just a few from Michigan. Google: ground covers [your areas' name] Keep thinking: reblooming daylilies, hostas. I love hostas. Flowering shrubs would look wonderful on the slopes (and their deeper roots would hold the hill better than grass). Get one or two than as they get bigger you can start cuttings, or layering. Google. Gardening is one of the most relaxing things we do! Call your local garden club.
Awesome job as always Eric you worked like a Trojan on your own too that was some incline you had too mow That lady will be so relieved as she works hard too with 11too12 hour shifts so thankyou for helping your community wish the world had more people like you it would certainly be a better place
Morning to all ,Eric with your snakes I do similar work as you do I have encountered many snakes this year most of which were killed by my power tools .I’m in Australia were we have extremely deadly snakes , most are protected by when they threaten your life you have no choice but to protect yourself , the customers and their pets . Blessings have a great day . 🙏🏻😀👍
That would be a hard yard to take care of. Not able to get access to yard . Being a single bet she doesn’t have $$ to get things repaired or get new. Thx for doing this. I’m a new widow and am lucky to have a neighbor to mow my lawn since my lawnmower broke.
That job yo did for the lady was absoluted beautiful And yovwere a very brave man to push and walk those sloops for her. Made me dizzy watching you gop and down those hills. good job. Thankyou for helping her.
I hate to say this, but I clicked the video because the little house looked so beautiful and idyllic sitting in all the tall grass. I thought it looked like a painting...lol. That said, I was mesmerized by your cleanup effort although I am wondering what kind of a creton I am watching a video of a man working like a dog for free while I laze on a couch on a hot Sunday afternoon. You have both my deepest respect for your goodness and work ethic, and my profound shame and apologies for not living up to your example. My hat is off to you, Sir.
WOW, what a project!!! The different levels was a challenge, but you were up for the challenge and did an amazing job!!! Looks absolutely lovely and you were a Blessing to this lady❤❤❤

Erik, The yard looks awesome, I know the mom is so very thankful for cleaning up her yard. God bless her and her family. God bless you Erik, God bless your Family.
Thank you so much for helping this mom. I have been a single mom and have been in the situation with a broken lawnmower. My yard wasn't as long mine was only a few weeks overdue. But the point is I know the feeling of what it is to have to do it alone with no help. So I say thank you. Thank you for helping others. God has used a couple of people over the years to help me, but otherwise I had to learn to rent a lawn mower. And 1 year I did free babysitting for a family and they bought me a used push mower for Mother's Day. And as I've gotten older, my muscles and joints are bad that I can't do it anymore. So now I have to pay somebody. But in it all God is good and I thank you so much again for your example of encouraging others to help others. When my boys were young my older ones there was a lady I know whose husband died. For the whole summer my sons and I would go over there and her yard was the tall grass in the beginning and they mowed it and we cleaned it all up. Regardless of the circumstances Eric, you did awesome job, even with the heat. Phoenix is in a heatwave as well. No rain in sight. Temperatures in the 100's +. Stay cool. 😊

I think its reasonable to think maybe her son could help mowing if its not allowed to get out of hand again. Lovely note. I wish her well🙏🙏 You're a good man Erik.
Wow, now that was a hill! Great thinking 🤔 on the ramps. I was wondering how you were going to go down. Forward looked sketchy, but I knew going backward was the right decision. Truly had me impressed this had to be challenging. Plus, it looked hot out there. I was hoping her son would at least offer a cold drink. Eric, you sure are a blessing. That note made me 😢 cry. That's a hard-working woman. I would ask your beautiful wife to make a scrapbook and put that letter ✉️ in. It's nice to go back and see all the amazing people you've helped. Great job 👏 👍!
Excellent job Erik! Thank You for helping her. I am glad you do not judge people and just help them. As you say "You never know what they are going thru" !
I wouldn’t turn my able body son loose on that yard. My own son looked healthy but he had heart and lung problems. He passed at age 28 but he tried to do everything he could to help our family. Don’t judge what you don’t know. Thank you for helping the neighbor and this woman.
Thank you for doing such an excellent job with the yard. I know people kind of judge, but you never know what’s going on in your family until you walk a mile and their shoes. Some people need a hand out and a hand, which is what you do. God bless you for helping these people. I’ll keep watching because I know the work you do comes from the heart. Rough terrain but you did good.

He's scared to work put I bet he's good at playing video games 😂
I don't like people using "single mom" for not doing something . The son looks healthy . and strong to help his mom.
I'm just like you, kid is just lazy and he knows mom can't make him do anything.
This excuse persists and seems there’s always a son that looks like he just rolled out of bed wearing socks and superhero shirt…lol.
The mower was broken down. You expected the son to pull the grass up with his hands? It’s commenters such as you that destroy hope for a future.
