- In this video, we explore, What causes the seasons of the year, - spring, summer, autumn, and winter. With the help of an animated explanation made in Blender, we'll see how the Earth's rotation causes the change in day and year and how it affects the seasons on earth and what causes seasons.
have you ever wondered why the world transforms into a canvas of spring blossoms, summer warmth, autumnal hues, and winter frost? Join us as we unveil the captivating secrets behind Earth's changing seasons. Learn how our planet's delicate dance around the sun and its subtle tilt on its axis orchestrate this magnificent symphony of nature. From the lengthening days of spring to the icy nights of winter, discover the science that shapes our environment. Dive deep into the cosmic ballet that paints our world in different shades throughout the year. Watch and marvel at the wonders of nature as we explore the magic behind the seasons.

The most perfect explanation that I have experienced
great explanation. The visual helps me understand better.
Good video, but I have one question. Why do the hemispheres tilt more or less away from the sun? What causes this?
I think earth itself causes changes in position
I'm 31 years old and I learnt this today.
My mom made me watch this video because of my project😊
Never questioned why until today, thank you
That' s literally helped me alot ,now i really got to how does season occurs ThankYou❤
I got my doubts wonderfully clarified ❤ thanks
This is so helpful! I needed this too much! 😭 my exams are coming up :(
Excellent video. Great visuals.
Absolutely gorgeous, without a doubt.
thanks verymuch from China, very clear so far
Nice video. 😊
I am assuming that there is also no dark side of the tilt, as in, the tilt stays constant to itself and doesn't spin facing the sun constantly.
Obviously.
Is the tilt of the axis fixed or does it vary?
Tilt remain constant
Tilts from 21 to 24 approximately but only every 26000 years. So yeah, no observable tilt over the course of a year.
@@jamespython5147 What you meant to say was 'no CHANGE of tilt over the course of a year.'
@sailorman8668 does the earth tilt a tiny tiny fraction each year. If it does then no tilt is incorrect?
@@kangacrew540 'change of tilt', yes.
best video .

Why is it so cold in Britain?
Is Britain near the equator?
hi I want know what is the rotation and revolution time of moon

Earth be looking like its almost pasted the ice age stage 💀💀💀😭😭😭
K so if the earth is far away (meaning less heat from the sun),that means its summer?
Bizarre how the tilt makes more of an impact on season than the elliptical orbit. I guess this is an exaggerated presentation? Even during Summer, I suppose the earth isn't far enough away from the Sun to experience a drastic change in sunlight/temperature as the planet Mars.
A surface placed perpendicular to sun light receive more light than a tilted surface.
The eccentricity of the orbit shown in this video is greatly exaggerated. The actual variation of distance from closest (early January) to most distant (early July) is only +/- 1.67 % relative to the average.
This would make the southern summers slightly warmer and the southern winters slightly colder than the northern _if_ the distribution of land and ocean was the same in the two hemispheres. However, the oceans respond more slowly to changes of sunlight than dry land and since oceans cover much more of the southern hemisphere, the summers there are generally cooler and winters milder than in the north.
Wouldnt the southern hemisphere average summer time highs be hotter then Northern hemisphere summer times peaks. Due to earth actually being at its closet distance to the sun in its orbit?
Nope.
Have you discovered the answer to your question yet?
@sailorman8668 Only thing coming to mind at the time is the tilt of the earth is constantly at a certain few degrees year round.
@@SoutherRebelDoUFunDu Most of the southern hemisphere is covered in water. Water takes much longer to heat up and cool down than land, so it's the southern hemisphere's extra water that stops it from heating up more than would be expected during its summer months.
@@sailorman8668 Don't give me that Crap.
(Meant to take in a comical way)
@@SoutherRebelDoUFunDu I have only just come back to this video to see your response.
I'm confused as to whether you actually accept my explanation or not?
It’s a very fragile dance, isn’t it? Such small movements as far as the planet’s concerned, with large implications.
Is it still upside down because my brain is twisted from the previous video
🤣🤣🤣
So why is there not a summer in Antarctica when the earth is closest to the sun, and is receiving 24 hour sunlight???
The model even shows this at 3:00!
You need to learn about area placed at different angles to the sun light.
So you say you know about it but yet don't explain it!
It is difficult to explain abstract quantities in words, this requires visuals.
@@jamespython5147 If you don't think the explanation for the seasons is correct, as demonstrated in this video, then what is YOUR alternative explanation?
It seems ridiculous to think that the Suns gravity keeps the earth in orbit, yet it is not strong enough to stop it from spinning. We don't see this with the moon, which doesn't rotate and always faces the earth.
Watch this. th-cam.com/video/pTQTbsMP8U8/w-d-xo.html
The distances are on astronomical scale, very large, also earth and moon posses the required motion, to keep their state of motion due to inertia.
As you think, Satellites should also fall on ground due to earth's gravity.
The moon does rotate, but its rotational period is the same as its orbital period of about 27.5 days. Therefore the same side of the moon is always facing earth. It is tidally locked with the earth. There is no dark side as many suppose.
