I had a prime pump go out on me after I serviced my truck . First thing to check if prime pump is suspect is to unhook fuel return line and put key on the on position. If no fuel runs out then replace prime pump .
How do you call the whole thing that holds everything including pump filter and solenoids ??? Mine is leaking fuel from behind the thing. Probably the gasket. I need to remove it i think.
@@tiorobot I found one finally and replaced it . After doing some research on how this engine self primes , I’m not sure if it was ever really an issue . I replaced the check valve and each time I start it up I let the fuel pump prime for about 2 cycles . It starts right up . I’m gonna let it sit for a month or two and see if it has issues .
easy fix. blow compressed air right into float bowl from top . make sure its air tight with hand so air pushes fuel down and through filter .crack line into injector pump. when u see fuel your good. will push fuel through system .put cap back while cranking . it will fire right up .
I replaced the blown 10 amp fuse, and it blew again. Removed the relay and replaced fuse it didn't blow. Install a new relay, and it blew fuse again. Any suggestions?
Yes. Should work with the key. Someone rewired it. I rewired mine. Volvo has electric problems. I took mine to the dealer twice, and they couldn’t fix it. So I rewired lots of things, now I have to turn things separately.

Не совсем понимаю в чем может быть причина, заменил 2 насоса, обратный клапан, соленоид, а давление не поднимает выше 30, зачем все менял не понимаю, на старом все также было. При нажатии на Верхний сосок для сброса воздуха, идёт топливо. В чем может быть причина, и какое давление должен создавать подьемный насос(после замены не изменилось около30)

bro i do have Cummins ISX international 2010 truck it won't take gas when push gas hard it comes black and white smoke after that RPM is going to down fast and engine noise is horrible till engine is shut off after 30 minuts it comes normal finaly i found out when i use cruis control that is problem start and down hill also any advice

Kanat Abdykerimov для начала надо поменять все топливные фильтра. Потом проверить если праймпамп работает, вкл зажигание и при открытом капоте слушать если насос работает - должен быть громкий звук как насос качает топливо.

I am having issues with losing prime. I was told the check valve might be bad . I have been unable to locate it . We don't have service manual

Try check fuel rail pressure sensor- looks like fuel pump can’t stop when it’s supposed to stop.

Фильтра поменял ,звук громкий походу работает памп, а могут быть причина с топливного бака ?
Если прайм памп не работает трак вообще не должно заводится ? Или может
Kanat Abdykerimov Из бака идёт в стеклянную колбу -фильт от туда прайм качает через железный топливный фильт в инжектора.
Kanat Abdykerimov если прайм не работает, заводится будет, но крутить стартером дольше, т е дольше заводится.
