Thanks so much for this lecture. I have a problem with my engine, it comes on but after the electric lift pump stops, the engine runs for few minutes and goes off during which I discovered that the fuel filter becomes empty.
Ay dice tiene que abrir la yabe y dejar que la bomba eletrica yene el sistema se tarda asta 5 minutos abeses. Talbes. La bomba eletrica ya esta Fayando.
Revisa la pompa pequeña ( la que llena el filtro) y el check valve, algo está creando espacios de aire dentro del sistema por eso se demora en arrancar.

This might look complicated but is more reliable than the other isx pump that breaks apart and damage the entire engine.
The common rail system is actually a much better design than the IFM
