AJ sang this song at the big fundraiser concert. B between 8 and 10 years old she mainly sang for charity events and such, including the Nobel Prize ceremony at age 8. In November 2014, in Oslo/Norway, barefoot. Afterwards she was very ill, but she sang at another ceremony in Sweden, with fever. In the time since 2014 Angelina helped to raise about 30 MILLION US-Dollar. In Germany at the concert "Ein Herz für Kinder" (a heart for the children) alone, she helped to raise 21 Million Euro of donations. She constantly donates to children charities from the proceedings of her own company "Angelina Jordan Inc." where she now is the CEO, since age 12.

AJ is strongly committed to charities, especially for children. She has sung for charity events even when doctors tell her not to. She gave her NGT winnings to charity when she was 8 and of course performs barefoot to remind the world of the plight of so many children. I believe the Beatles would be proud of this performance.

This first, out of two, Beatles covers from Angelina so far (next to "Yesterday" that is) is to me one of the very best videos put together with Angelinas superbly talented voice. The NRC did a splendid job on this, and it could, - and should, be shown all around the world at any time as long as there are children in need in this world. It speeks to the heart, so loud and clear, who is not effected by this. So thank you for this Britt, you are simply one of very few reactors to realy get this video straight away. Most are simply comming to listen to Angelina (naturaly) and don`t get the message at all. Still this is from the heart of our barefeet prinsess as well, and I can`t put to words how great I think this video is.

Angelina has always been supportive and encouraging to the children of the world. I love how she does this Beatles song. She is Norway's National Treasure but she's also fastly becoming the World's International Treasure, such a wonderful inspirational Earth Children's Princess Ambassador. Seeing kids from all over the world smiling-some in very harsh conditions-just brings home the message of hope.
I, too, am a suckere for all of those smiles and I'm mam enough to say that I tear up watching this.
I would like to mention another super-talent who is also very philanthropic and was discovered at the age of nine-Amira Willighagen. She won Holland's Got Talent as a self-taught classical singer.
She is living in S Africa and is building playgrounds all over the place for the kids because she could not understand how children could grow up without playgrounds.

Britt do you notice that she never sings anything bad. Yes some are better than others but no belly flops, even when she is very young. Apparently she rarely needs to do a second take. You can hear the echos in the hall of fame as she walks down it. My only fear is she gets sent down a dark path by some bad apple in the industry. But then she is an Angel isn't she.

It is a message of hope, but it is not saccharine. This is a Beatle's song, BTW. Her singing this song in this context is part of the soul contract made with the girl to whom Angelina gave her shoes. "When you realize your dream, never forget the children without shoes." A most soul/heart-level interaction. Grandma Ellen, out.

George Harrison of the Beatles wrote and performed the original. I first heard it on his Concert for Banglaesh album. Love both versions. Angelina as always makes it her own, and the children's smiles add hundreds of suns to the original old sole> I noticed that she changed the melody a bit in places, going down rather than up at times, or up rather than down. I love that about Angelina--- she doesn't just cover songs, she transforms them! Love your reactions-- you transform listening too!
