    Wow, that is VERY good information! I have an oversized pond for sure and I'm impressed by how fast they can move. The feeding information is most valuable to me regarding how the Koi will develop. Just like with chickens, early feeding quality is critical in developing Koi to be the best they can be. Thank YOU and thumbs up from this new subscriber!

    Everything he says is so logical, yet I'd never thought of it by myself. He makes very good points. At some points though I couldn't understand a few words he said, wish there were subtitles on this video :-(

      Fareed Z he saying to refill your pond slowly. When refilling the pond add it in with your waterfall. But if u use pond conditioner you are fine.

      Hello Marlyn,
      I just forwarded your comment to Andy. Here is the reply… "We can try the green leaf, red leaf or regular lettuce and if the koi still not interest we can not force them."
      Hope this helps

      I know this post is old, but for my goldfish I quickly boil the greens to soften them. Same with peas. They love it.

    Hi Caesar/Andy/Everybody! I need major help guys and I hope I can get good advice in here. For the last two days I was looking through a lot of blogs with a niche on fish in general but I haven't read any good answers yet. I have 10 Koi fishes and recently I noticed some of them have red spots or red linings in their scales. I know this is a sign of sickness in fishes but I can't really point directly what's causing it. So I immediately change the water and clean the filter and looked up online on what could possibly caused this and read that it could be a parasite/stress/poor water quality. So I decided to separate the ones that are sick from the ones that aren't (don't have the red spots). It's 3 days now since I did the separation but unfortunately the ones that are sick seems not improving condition despite me putting methylene blue and a little pinch of salt and worse, 2 of them died already. I know little about this matter so I tried even more looking for articles pertaining on the treatments but unfortunately I couldn't find a solid answer on how to treat it or is there any medications/formula for it? Or is there really no cure for it... :(
    I really hope you guys can give me good advice before all the sick ones die.

    Good day fellow koi lovers and experts, I need some help regarding my koi's. I have 4 small butterfly koi's about 4 inches long.
    I feed them the Laguna brand small pellets, but when they swallow it and spit it back out does that mean the pellets are bad or off etc.???
    Pls. help anyone.

    • @FrameshifterAI
      @FrameshifterAI 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      The pellets are likely too hard. Possibly presoften them

      high protein and install tiny exercise bikes in pond. Bonsai trees encourage fish to meditate and relax afterwards.
