Game lacks a new player catch-up mechanic. It’s cool that there are folks with multiple maxed out D3 characters with lev 50 skills in highest guilds and leagues generating the best stuff. Those players are positioned great as new content and characters come out. How does a player who just started get there reasonably quickly? The game is very daunting for new folks to get into and as they release more or extend the highest gear and skill levels, it gets worse for a new player. This is the issue they need to address immediately.
The game's not really about having D3 chars, but about your road to get there. If you got there quickly, you'd miss out on many different concessions you have to make that ultimately make the game more interesting (Do I level up my chars for Legendary events? Do I prepare 3 solid teams for Onslaught first? Do I get my 5 chars to Diamond ASAP, no matter what? Do I farm Legendary characters from campaigns the hard way? etc.)
There's nothing quick in the game for anyone. The people you see with D3s, most of them have been playing for 2+ years. Anyone you see with a team of D3s, that started playing in 2024, has spent 1000s of dollars to get there AND likely was being carried by a guild lapping Legendarys. I agree the game is very new player unfriendly, and that needs to change, but nothing is ever going to be quick. Spending will speed your progress up and that's how they make money. Way too many people play this game for free for Snowprint to do anything that would erode their profits.
I wish theyd make titus easier to get like perhaps putting him in the guild shop and replacing the coins since coins don't do much besides help in upgrades and you can get coins from a lot of things
Having rotating characters or more in general would be a lovely change - especially since two of the characters currently available aren't that appealing (although I'm a fan of Deathleaper myself)
Them making 2 medicae and placing a warp rift that you cant even move severely nerfed the creativity of base layout. With one medicae and no rift you had great options for hiding the medicae and making your opponents guess where it is. It's my biggest dissatisfaction, as it used to be my favorite mode.
There is a warhammer youtube channel that talks about the miniatures game workshop makes called auspex tactics i suggest it for you so that way you can see the characters that could get added in to tacticus I bring this up so you can have a relative idea of characters that the devs might add into the current factions that are in the game
Yeah I know that they try to follow the release schedule of GWs minis but they entirely missed the mark with Leagues of Votann and felt off with release trajectory with World Eaters so who knows - at this point we might get Drukhari next 🙃
@Farseer_Szeku atleast deathwatch are still there own faction so we can atleast get some characters from that faction tho I'd love to see just a named battle brother of the imperial fists when we get to that faction have the shoulder pad of deathwatch after all we don't see many characters with just the shoulder pad
best thing : survival as a source of books but need to add lower level books to earlier waves, worse is GW with a forced play structure which requires a deep roster for little reward.
