1:54 that is one of the five npc bosses in the game: They spawn every 15 minutes and the bosses are Fallen Overlords, Fallen Boosters, Summoners, Defenders or Guardians. If you are able to kill them, they will give you a good amount of xp. You can try to kill one in next video :V
I suggest you should try and get the land mine after getting smasher you can get smasher by not upgrading at level 15 it will pop up at level 30 its pretty fun not op but fun
My favorite tank to recommend is the gunner trapper. I usually get it by going machine Gunner, the four gunner and finally gunner trapper. I would recommend doing the same stats as this video's spreadshot. I think it will fit your play style

25 minutes per boss spawning and no to bosses stay at the same time. 30k xp per boss

that tank at the end is factory it is really strong but takes skill to play well. you can upgrade to it from sniper >> overseer >> factory
