Does this procedure work on the Jetta MK6? My fan is making a cricket noise. What do I do?

Yes you may one to try looking at the fuses first but most likely it may be motor and resistor.

@@derickstjean435 Weird question, my mk5 jetta has an aftermarket stereo. The stereo and blower sometimes work and sometimes don't. Its always together though, if the blower is working, the radio is and vise versa. Ive checked the fuses, I made sure the switch wasn't bad itself. very confusing for me. My next process was gonna be to check the ground on the blower motor, or replace it, but It works fine on every speed when it decides to work. I cant seem to find the reason why the radio and the blower motor would be going in and out together. are they on the same circuit?

@@Joshjack150 Im replacing my blower motor resistor in a few days to check. Right now my blower and radio will work for a day or two, then go out for a day or two on a cycle. Will update!
