This is a complete shit show. Just to think you paid for all of that dumb crap. I have been working on restoring my 89 Stang for over 5 years and I have saved a ton of $$$$ doing it all myself. Thankfully I know how to paint and do all the rest of the stuff myself. Knowledge is priceless. Hopefully you get it all worked out and sue this painter.
I've come to that conclusion that I must learn how to do body and paint myself. I just ran out of time. Life has caught up with me. I'm married now so just throwing money at the car doesn't fly anymore.
