    Tried to follow should pad technique. Dont know if that is the same in MD and Clo, but at least for me I get cleaner seam edge result when I add both collision and rendering offset to shoulder pads. I think MD welds vertices based on rendering offset, that is why edge of the jacket looks folded downwards at 45:40. All in all amazing video. Learned a lot!

    I applaud your skills and think this is one of the best MD tutorials out there. HOWEVER. I feel like it would be so much easier and faster to do a garment like this in zbrush. Not diminishing your skill at all... just saying. MD seems to overcomplicate super simple things that zbrush could do really really fast.

    • @epolusyenn

      i think you are right, for non simulated cloth purpose, i think zbrush do better and detailed. But, for cloth sim, are zbrush can do cloth sim?. i think it depends on what your project or purpose of making garment for :DD

    • @Daniel-qq6il
      @Daniel-qq6il  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm glad you like them :) So. About the keystrokes, it's something I've thought about, and the reason I don't display them because I have substantially modified my hotkeys to the point where a lot of them aren't the default anymore so they wouldn't match for anyone else. I'm also running a few autohotkey scripts and various macros that would confuse things even more. Also, as you can hear in the videos I tend to spam the keys, so it's not really helpful to see them on screen.

    can you print the patterns out wich you have created on the program to sew the actual garment or is it just for virtual use???

    • @Daniel-qq6il
      @Daniel-qq6il  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah! Yes! This is something I forgot to mention, you CAN print this out. If you use the default Clo/MD avatar, you can even go in and change the measurements to your own measurements and so when you make it, you know it will fit you. Then you can save the pattern and print it out. That's actually what this software is designed for, creating real patterns for real clothes.

    too much use of hotkeys without displaying and saying what keys your pressing. Absolutely not beginner friendly. More advance.
