I am not sure, but from what I know, they decided it like that because seungwoo needed like a rest from it (he had to go through the survival show + being the leader in that group + the sudden disbandment) and everything was too much for him, and seungsik was doing well, so they decided it was the best for them, and at the beginning it was provisional until seungwoo wanted to return as the leader but then it was decided it was a final decision and seungsik would remain as the leader ,, something like that
