Listening to this video I have just realized that the “amount” of time you give isn’t just the determinant for “success”. It’s also working on the “right” thing. Where sufficient effort produces impact. E.g “Ali still published a bestseller book although he procrastinated some times. When he put in effort though, the impact was tremendous.”
Good call on the second point of having the plans for the week set, and yet adjusting them as fitting when the time comes. The plan is the base and the moment is what we use to guide it.
I have heard Elon Musk, Bill Gates and other summarize productivity in the following 7 steps or 7 Truths. 1. Know what goal you want to accomplish. 2. Achieve a deep and very strong motivation to achieve this goal. You always need to keep your mind focused, positive and excited about achieving your goal. 3. Complete the daily actions needed to achieve this goal. The bigger the goal the smaller the actions steps will be. 4. Create efficient and highly productive systems, that you improve upon each day, to achieve your goal. 5. Make a habitual daily routine, that you are now wired to do and hopefully enjoy, to achieve your goal. 6. Plan each day the night before using time blocks. 7. Measure your results toward achieving your goal.
I love that even Ali and his team make minor mistakes just like me. On the animated title for the Truth 2 is says, "Grave Beverly" instead of "Grace Beverly". No one is perfect! Cheers!
