K-Love does such fun things these days. I have always liked the christian music "industry" since I was a kid in the late 1980's. (Yeah, I'm old. Not like the gals chatting it up in the video above.) I guess "christian music" is sometimes (or often?) an industry but I always was tempted to think of it as the most unifying element of true christian unity in our time. And something that SHOULD occur with much more organic vibrancy and just genuine reality & humility & honesty. That's how I think of Christian artistry, really. (Don't talk to me about Baroque & stuff yet, that's not my forte! :) ) Like the worshippers frequently go charging FIRST into the arts & social situations. (Look at David, Look at Jericho, look at Abel & Seth.) Either they do, or the move is just a political or economic fake, usually. The spirit has to be in it, first - both human and YHWH. (Like, for real real-zies. :/ ) Showbiz is showbiz. And the economy is the economy. Question I'm frequently having these days concerning almost everything is: what is the act and what is real? I guess only time will tell as it sorts, right? This is true with everything, but with politics (and such) going the way it is, I guess I'm just personally ON a skeptical stage right now. :) I mean, K-Love fan awards (or a portion of it) endorsed by Coca-Cola Consolidated. I'm not anti-anybody or too suspicious or anything, but I just have to wonder how sure our social & economic footing is, right now. I barely know who IS "us" anymore (humans I guess. And God. God & Humans. I guess I should just stick with that & be content right now. The Bible, YHWH, and us humans. I guess my tribe, prayer life, and concerns can't get any better than that.) Uh, wasn't Coke kinda ... weird lately, politically? I mean, I'm happy to see that they were involved, but uh, it just makes me think & wonder a bit. My faith & belief in fellow believers (and anyone in general) constantly shifts & becomes better informed with time, in one big picture: across all realms, including politics & economics. That said, I believe every word of the original 66-book Bible. (Eh, The Bible. It's proven itself reliable with a good track record. So. I guess we're all on a journey, right? It's only history's most important book for the last 3000 years. I really enjoy cultural artistry that brings it alive & makes it engaging & relevant in a faithful way. ANYWAY, uh, to conclude my over-expressive TH-cam type-rant semi-sermon: With the times we are going into, I feel it has never been more important to (my latest tagline): #KeepThePrayerAlive. Right? I'm not being trite here, I just think that's a good thing to say! Cuz I'm trying to get there within everything in my life. Wherever we are, whatever we're doing as individuals. God is more real than any of us. All rhetoric aside, this will always be true.)
Where's the 2023 playlist did it dissappear or something? Good grief i can't find anything on this page. People come here to hear the top song being played and they should be easy to find. My radio went out and I can't find my songs anywhere!!
