PATRICK SHORES, Florida - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued by the National Weather Service in Melbourne, Florida as a strong storm was coming ashore. The warning called for wind gusts up to 60mph. Winds were estimated near 50mph in near the South Patrick Shores around 6 p.m. Farther south out of the core of strongest winds, a mesonet recorded a gust of 41mph in Satellite Beach.
The same storm is headed up to Georgia, South Carolina. North Carolina, Virginia
We’ve had heavy rain in Oxfordshire,England but it never like your rain 🥴. I’ve been to Florida many many times and been through 2 hurricanes as well so I do know what you’re talking about . Stay safe people 🙏
I like stormy days in Florida, but not driving in heavy rain.
Neat video! I lived in Satellite Beach, Fl when I was a kid from 1969 to 1971 and we had quite a few of these storms during the spring and mainly during the summer months. At that time, I was scared of lightning and thunder. Now I enjoy it the fullest as long as it is not a full-blown hurricane or other major storm. I come here every summer, like this coming June, and always look forward to those afternoon summer thunderstorms. I am planning to move back here from Southern California if all works out. Love it here, storms or no storms!
Sound is ridiculous....wow powerful
Oi. Amigo. Bem.
There is a saying, that got its start with hurricane Floyd in North Carolina: turn around, don’t drown
