The taming update is so good that I basically paused working on my own Outlands video to enjoy the OP-ness of the dex tamer (I go water because I am a poor pleb haha). Great video!
I've been running with Blood Apes, they also destroy like crazy. That was even with Archery. I love this new overhaul... it came alil earlier than expected 💪😄
The arms lore disarm bonus is awesome, but honestly once the pets are leveled it's just a faster kill add-on. If you go parry though, you get access to the parry codex and can sit in aoe range for hunting party bonus and heals in general...great video pwn, keep em coming.
What happens to this build if you drop arms lore for parry? Do we still procs disarms? I'm currently on dex tamer, but needing a bit more survival.also, do we lose damage as well if we drop arms lore? Would be very helpful if someone could explain (new to the server). Tks!
Yeah, you need 80 arms lore to disarm (it also increases weapon special chance and makes armor/wep last longer). You kind of have to make a decision here; either increased survivability with Parry codex, or increased damage output with arms lore (I'm also assuming you're not an archer, because you shouldn't be getting hit at all then). If you want "both", wait until your codex is high enough that you can just stand in "defensive" stance...still gotta worry about those bleeds/disease ticks though heh. @@TiagoDrubi

Switch for whatever weapon skill you want. I'd leave arms lore personally. but up to you. more hinders is nice dmg mitigation for your pets. Chiv only effects you as a player so not really good for a melee tamer. Carp increases YOUR damage (if using crafted bows) not your pets. Not recommended for a tamer.

I came back and setup my first character in UO Enhanced Chesapeake as that’s where I played in my past life. I see that you’re on outlands and your videos are geared towards that. Currently Im running wrestling with water aspect because of the prices but it works like charm as well. Not efficient as much command but I was able to reach 450 dps. Especially with water aspect, wrestling can spam hinder and cripple all the time. In the other hand, healing boost is helping a lot to keep yourself and pets alive. Yet, if I had a chance, no doubt I would prefer command aspect.
Ive been rolling around with this since the tamer overhaul and its stupid how fast you farm. Ive even caught myself running on no stam, like wtf happened? Oh yeah, its been 10 minutes and im already full... I tried it with water, it is good and I might echo this toon to do an archer build just for shits, but command is so much better. \ Also, polar bears are insane. +47% damage from underdog, and +24% from zoology. They kick ass. I am only tier 6 command so far and they are enrage hitting for 400ish. I took vet to 120 and left arms, fencing and tactics at 80. Seems to be working out pretty well so far. Crazy fast farming speed.

Hey 😃 no, lots of different options and pets. That would be a super long long video 😆 I don't think it will happen. But there is lots of info in the discord. Typically you just wanna read the abilities and make them synergize w the bestiary

Hah I feel ya. Its a hard thing to balance. I don't know if people with no aspect should be able to solo demons in lvl 3 of a dungeon due to summons. But hard to find that happy middle ground
I hope just because some tamer haters crying for nerf doesnt lead to a substantial amount of dps reduction. Otherwise we are back to square one. Meaning that all the effort on the codex, zoology etc. done for nothing. Its not just because tamers were weak for a long time it was the one of the most difficult skill to make it 120 (plus the effort that we spent to collect full bestiary points). I think problem is now not just tamers are over OP but now it is so easy to reach due to increased skill gain chances and so on. So yeah, Luth will nerf it soon but hope he can keep the tamers on an optimal level. PS: try snow drifts 🤓

@@TiagoDrubi When you use vet materials it will heal you and your pets, also if you time it right you can double bandage using bandaids and vet material.

@flashfan1122 echo, it'd like a clone of your char but it keeps skills and caps, aspect levels. You can switch between them. I didn't know and made a ton of chars, waste of time and money
If your a melee dexxer, it (disarm) still increases melee pet damage by 10% vs the normal 25%. Id still reccomend it, and still reccomend using melee pets over range.

Veterinary cures poison. Greater cure pots cure poison.
Vetinary can heal yourself. Greater heal pots can heal yourself.

No black guard. Dmg done by the tamer themselves is far to weak for it. I chose aggressive for the swing speed and chasing procs.
Things dont last long enough for it to do any damage.
