Rough Country’s 6-inch Suspension Lift Kit for the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon is designed to be all inclusive while minimally invasive and easy to install with no welding, strut disassembly, or inner fender well trimming required. Rough Country's Research and Development Team engineered this kit to mirror the factory design and uses the preferred lower strut extension setup to keep everything in line for a smooth ride. This innovative design ensures proper angles for tie rod clearance resulting in no need to cut or replace the factory tie rod and looks much cleaner within the wheel well.
This kit ships with a set of lifted knuckles designed specifically to work in harmony with the strut extensions to retain the factory geometry and keep the stock track width entact. Also included are a set of differential brackets designed to retain proper differential orientation eliminating the need for a drive shaft spacer. A set of rear fabricated lift blocks and Rough Country N2.0 Nitrogen charged shocks bring the whole kit together, offering plenty of ride height to run up to a 285/65 R18 tire. Do you guys get tired of answering questions that are explained in the video? Jesus people - pay attention! Not to mention some people that can't read, spell and have terrible grammar blaming "wires across the truck start messing up" (wth does that even mean?) and "my truck is making weird noises" on your lifts! It's seriously funny to read some of these comments on here. Kudos to you guys for staying calm and re-explaining the hell out of everything. BTW the Colorado and Canyon look really nice with your lifts, I like how clean and straight forward they are. Another thing.... Who the hell puts lift kits on a 2wd truck??? Thats like putting a diving board in for the shallow pool! Looks like fun from far away, then you get closer and realize its ridiculous and pointless..... Ok, rant over...

I have 265/75/16 tires now and want a 6 in lift. Do you have any example of that. Afraid they smaller tires may look goofy.

I just had this lift installed at my GM Dealership and it looks and rides amazing, well done. My question is, does this lift level the truck? The front still looks s little lower? Is that just wheel well design creating an illusion? I ask because my tire touches the wheel well liner felt when turning and hitting a bump. I’m running 18x9, 285/65r18. Thank you!
Yes a lot of times the way the wheel well is cut can create an illusion. You could do a front and rear ride height measurement from center of the wheel/rim straight up to the fender to see what your ride height is.
Can you get the tire and rims alittle bit wider
This kit with the diesel engine will be a really nice setup. You might even get decent gas mileage with the lift.

Do you have to cut the cross member?
What is the difference in the package with the upgraded front struts vs without? What is the different in ride quality with each?
The upgraded lifted struts cause better ride quality over the stock struts installed with the spacers.
If I were to put the 6in lift on my 2016 Chevy Colorado trail boss, could I still fit in most underground parking garages?
+Oz Morales It's hard to answer that. The overall height will vary depending on tire sizes and air pressure. I know most underground parking garages have low ceiling levels. I just wouldn't feel comfortable answering that due to different variables that will alter the height of the vehicle.
Do you have a actual height measurement on the truck as pictured? I am assuming those tires in the video are 305/55R20s?
We do not measure the truck's overall height. We measure the height from the center of the wheel to the fender to determine/double-check lift amount because different tires sizes will change overall height of a truck with the same lift kit installed. The tires on these trucks are LT285/65R18.

+Grof2000 We currently offer a 4-inch, 5-inch, and 6-inch lift for the 2015 Colorado/Canyon. Lifting a vehicle doesn't effect gas milage. Putting bigger tires on a vehicle effect gas milage.
I am looking to have something like this that doesn't affect the factory parts of my truck; I just purchased a 2016 GMC canyon and i wanted to lift it up and set up some 18" vs the factory 16 that are on; any idea if their are locations that would install these correctly, but i dont need a 6 inch lift i am looking for only 3-4 inch.

Main reason why I haven't bought the lift kit as I'm sure lots of guys out there are the same because we can't find rims that fit.

i have a 2004 chevy colorado...my current tires are 265/70r17 and they are to wide and rub on the inside when i turn, therefore i cant turn all the way. What size lift should i get to solve this??

Would this lift fit a 35 inch tire?
285/65-18 or 285/55-20 is what is recommended. The 35 will be too big for this setup.

I have to disagree the chevy is alot better looking out side. The gmc just looks like a baby sierra (PLAIN). But the GMC does have a better more luxury looking interior.

I would say the Sierra was a far better looking design for the current K2 and previous generation. I mean come on, a LTZ looking better than a Denali or All Terrain with big bumper and dual headlights, no way. No flares on Chevy, GMC uses a thicker windshield on SLT and Denali, real aluminum trim vs. painted plastic in the Silverado. I only buy Silverados for my company, my last 3 personal trucks are GMC, there is a reason I do that.
