Fun little fact as well about Colorado Springs; a lot of military personnel are in that area with the U.S. Air Force Academy there, Fort Carson Army base, quite a few Space Force installations in the area and NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) in Cheyenne Mountain.
I was born and raised in Highlands Ranch, Colorado and I love it! I got both of my degrees in Boulder and have fond memories of it as well. I only go down to Colorado Springs to visit my friend but I’ve always liked it!
My father and grandmother on his side is from Savannah. I went there recently and it's a chill little spot. My uncle from Atlanta kept saying it's bad like I was going to stay in the ghetto.
A flight from San Diego to Heathrow is about 11.5 hours - very doable and nowhere near 14-15 hours. (That’s more like LAX to Dubai). The weather is stunning there - no humidity like the Southeast (check out the temperatures in Savannah, Huntsville, Charlotte, etc., today) and warm/temperate year round. Think Southern Spain or Tangier, Morocco.
NC has the beach, mountains and big cities. It very hot in summer but only the mountains are cold in winter. Along the coast winter is typically 45° f - 65°f and can have warm spurts of 70° f - 80° f
San Diego has the best weather in the continental US, in my opinion! The only bad part, the ocean is not warm like the beaches I’m used to along the Gluc Coast.
I live in Greenville, South Carolina…I’ve lived here my entire life. It’s a great place to live, and there are a lot of people moving here lately. It’s growing at a pretty rapid pace. Close to the mountains, a few hours from the beach. We’re basically sandwiched between Charleston, Savannah, Charlotte, Raleigh, Nashville, Asheville, Atlanta, etc. So there are a lot of places close by, and many things to do.
Having grown up in Huntsville, I can tell you it is beautiful and there are plenty of intelligent scientists from all over the World. There are about 18,000 former British ex pats and about 67,000 former New York residents. The rest are from all over. A truly diverse population and interesting mix of people. Everything is new too! Wernher Von Braun chose Huntsville because he thought it looked like Germany. Just my two cents worth. Good luck with your search!
Im from Kansas City and Overland Park is a suburb about 15 minutes from downtown KC but on the Kansas side. It'd be cool to see you check out some houses in this area on both sides of the state line. Where kind of a hidden gem.
I remember on one of your videos you guys mentioning you were going to Alabama, and in that video I mentioned that you should check out Huntsville. Missed opportunity.
My Aunt and Uncle lived near Durham/Chapel Hill North Carolina. Absolutely perfect. Not too far from the Smoky Mountains not too far from the outer banks. I live in northern Illinois a few hours south of Green Bay, Wisconsin. It’s really nice up there by Door County. Been to Boulder Colorado. Nice city but pricey. I’ve never been to San Diego. Supposed to have perfect weather but you pay for it! Haven’t been to Huntsville since I was a kid visiting relatives in New Orleans. Back to Raleigh. Nice place. Been to Colorado Springs too. Many years ago. Really pretty outside of the city but the city itself was just ok. Garden of the Gods, Red Rocks and Pikes Peak. I’ve been to Idaho but never to Boise. Never been to Overland Park but I did know someone from there. Supposed to be nice.
From watch your videos over the past couple of years, might I recommend you take a look at Asheville, NC or Greenville, SC. I have lived up and down the East Coast and all over the Gulf Coast and you seem like you would fit in with the locals in those towns. Especially with sports, drinks, nights out and being out in nature. Greenville more so than Asheville.
Briggs is a knob. He says Huntsville is great just so he can bash the rest of Alabama in making the 'exception'. This is an ordinary occurrence with negative Briggs.
He does the same thing with Arkansas. He’ll say Fayetteville is nice and then say the rest is backwards. There’s plenty of nice parts of Arkansas besides Fayetteville.
*Gaynor and Aiden* with a shout out to Darrin...! I live in Boise, Idaho.... 83713 Zip and even tho we've been INUNDATED with Californians and others the past 5 years, *THIS PLACE IS VERY VERY SPECIAL* I don't want to brag on it to much as not to encourage even more to move here, lol.... but it has EVERYTHING any one could ever want in all ways except a beach.! I hesitated saying anything but I love all three channels so I felt compelled... How do you put it.... *Cheers* David.....
Cool. Does it also have braggadocios as well? I was there in 1996 and my motel room was broken into while I was away for 45 minutes. Very erudite indeed!
Decent list of places to live. I know some but others i was surprised. I was surprised about Overland Park. I'm a chiefs fan and that area seems like a nice place to live, but i never would've guessed it'd be that popular.
I'm thinking not a lot of people my age(60) voted in this pole. People my age don't want to live (retire) to someplace cold. No way do I want to live in Colorado,Wisconsin, or Idaho, where it's cold 7 months out of the year.
The BEST state to live in is the State Briggs Never talks about and when he does it's always positive because he finds it perfect in every shape and form FACTS!!!
Raleigh use to be a great place to live, but not anymore. Around 2019, people started moving here in droves. The traffic is now compared to Charlotte and Atlanta. People are moving in herds from Northern and West Coast states and bringing their crappy politics and lack of driving skills with them. Since 2019, my rent has quadrupled. A 20 minute commute to work has turned into over an hour. Crime (serious crimes) and the homeless population has skyrocketed. The number of daily auto accidents has skyrocketed. People move here without housing and jobs lined up and are surprised to find out that tens of thousands of others had the same idea at the same time. The number of homes for sale and units for rent has dwindled. The number of available jobs has greatly dwindled. Raleigh is FULL! Please don't move here. The narrator mentioned the hospitals here. Well, the medical staff I know who work at hospitals here say their job satisfaction has gone down with the mass influx of people. They can't handle all the new people coming to the hospitals. A new hospital needs to be built, but where would they build it? Any available land is turned into apartments. To Gaynor and IAdan - you don't want to move to Durham. The traffic there has always been terrible. The worst part about Durham is the crime. Crime is out of control in Durham. It is shameful Duke University is there because such a prestigious university deserves a better city.
you can't really judge the entire state by huntsville. The stereotypes of Alabama exist for a reason. Just as the entire state isn't filled with hicks that are real friendly with family members, the entire state isn't filled with phds either. Mix of both.
It seems so crowded everywhere you go, it's ridiculous. It never was like that. Where are all these people coming from? Just a decade ago it was only 7 billion people in the world. Now it's 8 billion. Next, it's going to be 9 billion. It seems like the population grew out of nowhere. Great video!👍🏾
What classifies as a big city in your opinion? Over 1 million people? There's only 9 cities like that. Over 500k? Are Nashville, OKC, Fresno, Columbus, or Boston considered big cities? Edit: I didn't include the metropolitan area. Just the city itself.

Great video. I live in Savannah, Georgia. People are pouring into my little city like water through a sieve.
My father and grandmother on his side is from Savannah. I went there recently and it's a chill little spot. My uncle from Atlanta kept saying it's bad like I was going to stay in the ghetto.

I agreed 100%

From what I’ve read, several sites indicate that a flight from San Diego to Manchester England is approximately 11 hours and 15 minutes

2:00 oh hell no!!!! I had to go to Green Bay all the time for work and it was the coldest place I’ve ever been!!!

As a Wisconsinite, I hate seeing Green Bay on this list. We want to keep it a secret. We don't want people moving here. It's ours.

Asheville, NC is extrememly expensive. It is always in the top most epensive places to live in NC, sometimes making it to the #1 spot.
Downtown Lexington Kentucky is the thumbnail. Home sweet home

He's from California. Enough said.

So, ummm, when are y'all going to accept eastern Oregon as part of Idaho and let Portland be by its lonesome? 😂
West Virginia is the hidden gem for real estate. I bought some beautiful land for cheap. 10-20 years it will skyrocket

I live in Huntsville, it's pretty nice for the most part but yeah... you are right.
The BEST state to live in is the State Briggs Never talks about and when he does it's always positive because he finds it perfect in every shape and form FACTS!!!
The Carolina’s are a popular retirement place as well

Some great choices here. I'll stick to where I am. In Western Washington State.
You’ve both described Alabama as most ppl in the US do!
Preconceived notions is what you were after. From a friend in Alabama :)
my boy ob aidan!

Bring back Sophie!
Stay on the east coast. Easy travel to Europe and all parts of the US
I was going to guess somewhere in the vicinity of Kansas City for #1, people are predictable lol
He needs a much larger sample size
Aiden you need to google top 10 drunkest cities in the US. First round is on me. lol

Alabama is beautiful. Some of the best beaches in the country!
Hey dude i think the same thing about Alabama. Lol
Can you guys play react to something different these videos especially these top 10 top five US cities kind of videos are a bit repeatetive
Green Bay sucks. I grew up in the awful cold winters and nasty summers. No thanks!
NEVER move to ANY big American city. ALWAYS stay at least an hour outside of them. SERIOUSLY

As an Oregon native I'm glad we didn't make the list because we really don't want you here anyway 😂❤😂
