I appreciate your in-depth analysis videos. It's refreshing to listen to a detailed discussion about a cube without any unnecessary hype or promotion of new products.
I like how you will 100%revise what you said at the end of video I'd you actually notice something you thought you had for wrong this makes you my go to for cubing questions and knowledge haven't led me a stray yet in my 1 year and 1300 dollars later.... Lol I may have a problem but I'm all seriousness Cameron may want to use your videos as a guide for his own cause he just judges cubes by cover doesn't even look under the hood and it's his business which is frustrating you are the only reason I still shop there your content is great and you have personally answered many of my questions taken time or of your day you deserve the following that you have and much more have a great day buddy jperm may have more followers but you have a better following it you get my drift

Great video! I’d be curious how close the ys3m ball-core is to the rs3m super ball-core. I’ve heard people say the ys3m is way but I don’t know that’s just partially because it’s new and because of the hype.

I just got my ballcore one yesterday, out of the box I loved the settings and how it felt. Opposite of what I felt about my tornado v3 when I first got it, I might switch from the tornado to this. The way it is setup now feels blockier than the tornado but super stable and flexible enough for good corner cutting. For the tornado to feel as stable as this one I have to make it too blocky which doesn't feel good to me. But I still love the tornado too, still undecided.

Was waiting for this video. I don't quite get the release of these cubes at this time and the reviews I've seen are a bit mixed. But I like the smaller size and I'm curious about the 4th version. PS everyone seems to have trouble opening that box.
I might have to try this. I actually still use the GTS2M as my OH main.

When looking at the advertising for this range, there is another version...any idea what the 4th version with the 'magic clothes' is?
I believe it's supposed to be like a UV coated cube instead of the matte plastic.

If that's the case the one I got feels exactly the same as the matte ones with no noticeable change in the feeling or even reflection.

Shawn, can you confirm for me that the only difference between the purple and blue tension system caps is the color? The purple doesn’t do anything different than the blue?
On the RS3M Super Magnetic and Maglev the magnets are 3x1.5mm both in the corners and edges, and on the Ball Core they are 3x1mm. Maybe it’s the same on the YS3M.
Is it worth the elevated price tag, or not?
i know this is suuuuper late and you might miss this altogether, but im coming from a gts3m to the ball core ys3m, and i want to know how the magnet strength compares between the two puzzles (i know the gts3m is usually said to be on the stronger side of magnetic cubes, so i guess i might prefer that quality)
The core magnetic cubes often feel lighter because they lighten up the corner/edge magnets. There is a more overall stable feeling with core magnetized cubes while the ones like the GTS3 have a distinctive click on each turn.

Since it's around the same price point as the WRM 2021, what would be a better option?
The WRm has adjustable magnets. The YS3M is more flexible. That's the main tradeoff.

Hi, I'm a new cuber and I'm looking for a little help please? Is there a super easy way to tell the difference between the three cubes? I'm not sure which one I got.
It's very easy to see if you have the ball core in the center. If you don't have that then under the screw, you will either have a spring or magnets.

I did a bit here. YS3 is just slightly smaller and a little more flexible. Their performance is near identical.

I think it is better if their flagship cube has magnet settings for people who loves customize. For me,I'm okey with magnets of Super Rs3m which is slightly stronger than rs3m2020 but not quite much stronger like Gts3m.

I am convinced that the ballcore doesnt make a difference on turning in the short term. But the ballcore is better at saving the lube.

I like stronger magnets, so on my super RS3M’s I added extra magnets to the edges just like you could do on the rs3m 2020. I am hoping I can do the same with these 3. I am going broke because MoYu keeps putting out the 3 versions of the same cube because I always seem to think I choose the wrong version by choosing only one.
I’ve heard with this one the ball core version is the only good option and the other 2 are worse than the RS3M super, so just buy the ball core

MoYu still probably insists that WRM means GTS3Without Ridges, and is actively trying to avoid the confusion.
That's because by the time the ACTUAL 3.47 guy designed their cube, it's an entirely different name.
These cubes look really good and I really like the super Rs3m and the original Rs3m and l would like to try it

At the point now that aesthetics are as important as performance for me when it comes to buying a new cube.
This doesn’t stand out as something radically new, different, or beautiful enough to warrant buying it. At least to me.
the new cubes seem to be unremarkable to say the least.. nevertheless, they're still good cubes.. I'm still satisfied with my RS3M and Meilong M.. will consider buying the Maglev version when one of my cubes break..

This cube (ball core version to be precise) is literally a lower quality (and cheaper) version of Gan 11M Duo, even performance and piece design are about the same. Actually Gan 11M Duo is a lot better, it's a lot easier to set up, plastic quality is higher, colors are slightly better, it's quieter which is really important and it has really useful plastic case. I didn't like 11M Duo and I feel I don't like this cube just the same because magnets are quite too strong and also it's really LOUD. If you didn't like Gan 11 just skip this cube. I thought it is better version of Super RS3M Ball Core but end up with a lower quality version of the cube I didn't even like in the past which is really disappointing. Sadly it's not even some new experience which is important when you buy something just to give it a try and compare like me.
PS: it is true that Super RS3M Ball Core is a different cube (and IMO a lot better one, and cheaper, and quieter)
