Watching this is giving me nostalgic vibes. The biggest emphasis in this game is on world exploration, so it encourages wandering off and poking around everywhere for hidden chests and puzzles. Each region has at least one mechanic that's completely different from what you find in previous regions. For combat, the greatest emphasis is placed on mixing elements to amplify damage. Quests will appear as blue exclamation points on your mini map / map whenever you're close to them. There aren't many to start, but there's certainly enough. Quests are the main source of EXP in this game. You also got the adventurer handbook. It's a very good way to bring up your AR (adventure rank) not saying what to do lol but if you want to gain AR faster then that book is your best friend. you can press F1 if you forget the key to press. The thing above your head is a pet. When you get to Fontaine you can dive and then he will wake up. Pets don't do anything; they just accompany you. if you go to a statue of the seven, you can click on "Statue's Blessing" and change the setting to 100% healing. so whenever you go near a statue, you will be fully revived and healed. the stars that pop up on the mini map show where the Anemoculi are, the blue floaty things that you can offer to the statues. that's the way you get more stamina! Don't listen to anyone saying "do not invest into a certain character, it's weak and not worth it". Genshin is a pve game with barely any endgame content, thus there is no point of following the meta just for the sake of clearing the abyss. So if you wanna invest into your main character (Chloe) - do it. You may not have such a big damage output (in comparison, or course), but you will enjoy playing your favorite character - that's the main goal. Regarding the wishing system (F3), I suggest you use the Acquaint Fates (the blue ones that you got from the mail, for example) that the game gives you for free... But don't spend primogems to buy them from the shop. It's better to buy Intertwined Fates (the purple-ish ones), which are the ones used to try and get limited characters. Also remember: every 10 wishes you make you get at least a 4* character or weapon, and at 90 you have a guaranteed 5* (with increased chances after the 75th wish) so you'll eventually get rare characters. You just need patience... or some luck, of course.
When you reach AR 16 you will unlock co-op mode. Players can come and help you (if you need help defeating bosses or whatever you need) or just have fun together. Check out your friends list and if got friends requests - you should accept it.
