Geno was absolutely the hero of this game. This was a gritty, hard-fought win on the road against a better-than-most-thought opponent. Definitely things to improve on both lines and other areas, but I'd rather have those issues and be 2-0 than the alternative.
What a game! Things to clean up on defense, need to get our run game and o-line figured out. But Geno and Love came through clutch, along with DK and JSN. The resilience and toughness of this team is so fun to watch. Lots to work on but grateful for a win. Go Hawks! 💙💚
The problem is the interior of the Line. McDonald and or Grubbs need to move up center Oluwatimi & guard Haynes. The interior line got no movement and kept getting stonewalled. I understand NE D-Line is good, but they lost mostly all snap battles. Only good runs Charbonnet were him bouncing outside of the tackles.
Awesome stuff Brian, love your dedication to this team! A gritty, hard-fought game. Much to learn, much to improve, but most importantly, much to celebrate.
I hope the hawks D figures out how to stop the tight end big plays. Other teams are going to see 👀 this and will keep bringing the tight end attacks until this D learns to stop it. I know I would.
I think a lot of folks are still having a bit of PTSD from the last 5 (or more?) years of constant mediocrity. So anytime the team struggles and it somewhat resembles the struggles of the past, some folks are thinking we are going to be the same as those prior years. I'm even guilty of this too. I had those moments the last 2 games in fact. However, I watched the team do something we haven't seen in a while. They adjusted, battled and found a way to win. THEY DID NOT GIVE UP. I can't say that about the last several years. It feels different now. I have more confidence they will gut out wins like this. I'm not saying they are going to go to the super bowl or anything but I think they will end up doing better this year than last which is more than we can expect with an all new coaching staff, offense and defense schemes.
I thought that too, Mcintosh might get through w his twitchy, quick, legs n cuts? Hope, Baker’s hamstring recovers w treatment n not linger on? Thanks for all your hard work n info, Brian*
He was a pretty bad blocker in the preseason. I guess it screams run play if they bring him into the game. Wish they would have tried Holani on some of those short yardage plays.
I thought Brisset played awesome today. If the Patriots won this game he would of been the reason. Great win for the hawks though. Geno really played well.
Christian Haynes is a nice, but I want to see Laumea in for Tomlinson asap. I know LG is a tough position, but what I am seeing from Tomlinson is league worst guard play. I refuse to believe a rookie could be worse; Tomlinson gives up pressure on nearly every play.
Way to go Geno crap on the haters when all the overrated young QBs crapped their own bed. Specially Anthony Richardson crapping the bed against Malik Willis

Adjusting is a strong point Mike appears to be doing well. Look Henry was tearing us up, then he hardly touched the ball. Great adjustments.

@@danperez3970no chance they bench Williams and Haynes will be at LG when they feel he’s ready…it’ll get better as they play together….
So glad they hung on to win. I agree man that Mafe missed tackle was insane. It’s like he thought he expected a whistle or something.

That’s what they get for trying to troll us with Malcolm Butler.
Two games into the season and have done two things that have never been done in franchise history GO HAWKS
I loved when DK taunted the Patriots mascot on that first td, and the Patriot turned his back on Metcalf. 😂
Those drops can’t happen. We need to clean that up but overall they all showed they cared and their heart was in it unlike last year.
Not surprised they had a hard time running the ball New England was a top 5 run defense last year GO HAWKS!!!

They seemed to adjust in the 2nd half and tight ends were barely seen after.
So dope ur in the press now whenever you ask questions at first I’m like is that actually Brian 😂 great win today
Haha
Right? I’m like “hey that’s the guy I listen to every morning while walking my dog” haha
Those were the plays I was most worried about. Williams and undrafted in big situation and myers from near extra point range😂
Geno saved the team..5 dropped passes and horrible defense terrible coaching choices.
Thanks!
@@BarryMcColeman thank you!

I want a Geno jersey now.
I wonder why they didn’t bring in McIntosh.
They must not trust him in picking up the blitzes that much..
@@listertheblister could be. Zach didn’t look that great either but some was due to the line but not all of it.

I bet the under 7.5 wins
But I bet the over on;
Geno pass yards
Geno pass TDs
DK rec yards
JSN rec yards
So it looks like I’ll come out WAY ahead

Fant needs to work on catching drill

Thats what they get for trying to dunk on a team that doesnt have a single member of the SB team left with their lame pre game nonsense
That was 10 years ago…get a life people!
