Hello. Thanks for the tutorial on mixing these inks. I’m not sure if you’re aware of this but during your video, you mentioned that you chose the Bombay Inks over the Hydrus Watercolours since they’re not lightfast. But actually the Dr. PH Hydrus Liquid Watercolours are lightfast. It’s the Radiant Liquid Watercolours that aren’t lightfast. Just thought you should know.
You're welcome and thanks for the info. I may have been getting mixed up with the ecoline products when u researched lightfastness, because those ones definitely aren't.
The metal palette with the wells is the Derwent Academy student mixing palette. Not sure what type of metal it is but it washes clean easily with everything and it can withstand scrubbing. The clear plastic circles I was mixing on are Pringles can lids. I tend to save plastic lids from snack and powdered drink containers because if they do stain or I forget to clean them off for too long, it was already an upcycled item, I can go ahead and toss it.
Any other tutorial or follow up requests? Keep 'em coming!
This is an incredibly underrated video for how useful it is. I really appreciate the time you took making this. Thank you so much!
I'm glad you think so! Thanks 😊
Wow, that is an intricate mixing set-up. I usually eyeball it, but I'm sure this gets you better results.
Depends on the medium, really. Some I also just eyeball. Inks aren't a very forgiving medium, though, so I don't like to take chances!
very helpful seeing the colours arranged like that :)
Thanks 😊

Thanks for watching 😊
Nice video 💐💐💐💐

What material is that palette? Does ink stain it or can you wipe it clean?
