I use Fishing to fund the early game, so I love the Riverlands farm. I typically buy 120 Strawberry Seeds and plant them in a mid-Spring Greenhouse (thanks to Joja), or wait for Ginger Island in the Summer. I have yet to try 1.6 so I expect the Fish Smoker will have a very significant impact on my income!
i gotta say, the dancing dragon/lizard on the starting soon screen does always make my day.
If you have more suggestions for starting screen dancing gifs I'm all ears!
The very first map I played on Stardew was the Riverlands map. I really like it. Once I got the greenhouse I pretty much stopped farming outside. I wanted to walk around and meet all the people, hear all the stories, and see all the things and that was difficult if I was hanging around farming. In the greenhouse I just put in crops that constantly regrow so I don't have to bother replanting stuff. I put the barn and coop on one of the islands. I made 2 cabins as well and had a couple friends log on and upgrade the cabins so I could have 2 extra cellars.
That's so cool and cozy! I ignore townies, cos maintaining relationships is hard even if I choose the only one person to talk to. So I'm always on my farm or mining. The only friend is Linus just because he's on the way to mining and loves everything you pick on the way 😂❤

Hot Take: In my mind, Penny gets progressively older as you go through her heart events. Everyone bashes her for 2 heart events, but in my mind, she's like 14-16 in that heart event. By her 10 heart event, she's like 21-24+. Everyone forgives Hayley and Shane for how horrible they are at the start of their arcs because they get better. Penny is young at the start of her arc and looses her naivety; both Hayley and Shane are young at the start of their arcs' work for them, too from a maturity standpoint. Characters starting out young makes sense if you're viewing SDV as a reflection of Concerned Ape growing up in a small town.

It's description says it has 40 exclusive furniture pieces. I didn't buy it though, also I have already completed the community center so I have no way of checking if the store carries it as well.
