I’m always hesitant to watch Kylie reviews but my friend actually bought me her birthday palette and I think it’s so beautiful. I’ve only gotten to use it once so far but the shades I used blended nicely and the gold/pink shimmer is to die for
Also I’ve seen so many reviews complaining about her matte liquid lipsticks that are made for staying on your lips for practically the whole day being matte and dry. Like…. It’s a MATTE liquid lipstick, what did y’all expect?? A super nourishing cream sheen oil type product?!! So crazy 🤣🤣 but I still enjoyed your video. 🙃😘

The families use other cultures, usually black culture to sell them selves. One of the sisters stole a black owned brands designs and sold them as their own. For cosmetics and skincare, a lot of thier videos are filtered while they are demonstrating thier products and it’s false advertising to me. I just can’t trust what they are selling and the quality of it.

Liquid lipsticks are still my go to lip product. They are amazing! Just moisturise your lips with a good lip oil, let that sink in and then lock the moisture in with a layer of Vaseline as a barrier and your lips will love your liquid lipsticks again. I'm 46 and my middle age lips are always soft :-) I love your channel Soph, keep posting what YOU want to and what makes you happy. Your positivity shines through and that is what we like about you. xx

@@NR-in5nn Glad there are more of us so they don't stop making them. My favourite formulas must be Dose of Color liquid matte lipstick which is lightweight and last a long time. It can survive a light meal like a sandwich, but not a greasy meal. If you are looking for something that can survive a lasagne or nachos I would go for the Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Lipstick that I'm sure most of us liquid lipstick lovers know about. It's a bit hard to work with, but once you get the hang of it, it's a great formula. It stays on your lips till you take it off and you will need an oil based makeup remover to remove it. Other formulas I like are Rimmel stay matte liquid lip colour, Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Colour and NYX Professional Lip Lingerie.:-)
@@rachelsaunders6543 I love the Q+A Liquorice Lip Oil. It doesn't smell or taste like licorice(unfortunately for me as I love it), but more like peppermint. But it's very good and very affordable. And I also love ESPA Nourishing Lip Treatment, but it's pricey so I only use it when my lips are really cracked. :-) You can also use whatever skincare you use that are hydrating. It doesn't have to be so much hokus pokus. It's only skin. Just don't put anything too harsh on it like acids and things like that. ;-)
My favorite liquid lipsticks of all time is the Morphe ones. I love how they don’t fry the hell outta your lips
It's actually recommended to never ever smack your lips when applying matte liquid lipstick. Just a coat on the bottom, a coat on the top and let it dry. No lip smacking, because it can increase the risk of having super wrinkly lips when it's dried down.

the soft matte liquid cream lip colour from nyx is still one of my go-to lip products.
love the way it dries down and stays all day. i usually use one of their primers underneath it too.
I legit bought a set almost 4 years ago with lots of minis and they are such a good formula that I love still to this day! I think if you want the liquid lipstick look without the feeling of wearing one, nyx is the way to go ☺️
Same! I bought my first ones in New York . I went there as a graduation gift from my aunt. In my country there was no nyx yet. Now there is. I still have a few here from when i was in New York (about 2017/2016?) And they are still not empty or dried out :0

I was an avid Kylie cosmetics user and always payed so much in taxes … haven’t ordered anything from her in ages but already knew that I wouldn’t be buying the new lip kits because no matter what that woman just can’t keep herself from making a liquid lipstick dryer than the Sahara desert . I did order a blush , eyeliner and lip liner a few days ago so I’ll see how that goes

Hi soph! Love the videos as always. Just a recommendation since you loved the kylie gloss feeling, I would love to see a video where you try out Lunar Beauty. Robert Welsh has done several features with the brand but I'm obsessed with their glosses, and the liquid lip/gloss formula they have. So beautiful and lightweight and pigmented, plus the palettes are to die for, I've collected most of them at this point lol. I think youd really enjoy the brand 😁

I still love a liquid lipstick. I love a matte full coverage lip and it makes me look pouty and stays in place! I've never gotten into lip liner though.

It’s funny, I don’t like lipglosses because I don’t like the transferring and I hardly wear like creme lipsticks or matte ones, I wear mostly lip liner and then lip balm over the top or like a lip stain. If I had the money I’d wear tinted lip oils but I’m broke af so here we are lmao
During covid lockdown i honestly thought that makeup channels would die and scary thought of no more makeup review , soph definitly one of the one that i buy from her reviews and is the fact that she is from uk even more special cause i can actually relate more and buy the products

I just tried the new lipkits and oh god, the old formula was so much better. These new ones are thinner in consistency but dry af and the lip liners are those horrible waterproof/smudge proof liners that feel thick and dry as hell 😭😭 I truly love the blushes and bronzers tho. Pigmented, super easy to blend and smoothing.
Her liquid lipstick in ,blt to last‘ is my all time favorite nude. Can’t recommend that color enough :)

I actually love a drier long wearing lip liner similar to Estée Lauder lip pencil because I find them the best to over-line lips a little and last all day, I personally don’t even feel them on my lips. I deffo want to get candy & dolce K lip liners!! Liquid lipsticks are still my go to and always will be. I can’t stand the feel of something creamy or slightly sticky on my lips 😂 definitely needs to be a good formula and apply thin layer in the centre and pat outwards. 💜
