I've been playing bass for 30 years now...I could only wish that I had the girl-pulling power of the handsome Ron Moss...he was the first bass player (to my knowledge) who had the girls swooning whenever he appeared on stage. There might have been other good-looking bassists out there, but not to the extent that Moss had on the ladies! (I kept hearing about him from my cousin, whose otherwise calm demeanor melted away when she mentioned Ron Moss...it always made me laugh despite the envy I had--not only handsome but a truly accomplished bassist!)

It was, I think, a kind of homage to the Blues roots that brought forth the American Voice.

You're exactly right about the accent from other countries BUT when they sing english songs they sound American. I know, it happens to everyone from around the globe UNLESS they have a very Heavy accent then you can hear that but, for the most part, they all sound American when they sing.
