The makers of this series was like lets show feminism by making our characters sleep around and party all the time. It's fine to show concepts like open marriage, but at the same time showing consequences of such things is equally important, like children growing up neglected and complexed and things like that. Same for hookup culture, they all show how cool and hip it is, but never show how it takes a toll on your mind and emotions.
I have watched the first episode of season one when it was out, and knew this is not something worth my time. Glad I took that decision. I don't know what kind of feminists they want to bring out with this series. I shouldn't be comparing it but 'Made in heaven' too has an urban set up with strong woman leads but in a much sensible way. That show was very closer to feminism which should be promoted.
It's just a spice mixed drama with 4 different stories in it that may or may not be relatable to anyone. Why do we have to find messages and if somehow we end up doing that, why there is this need to analyse it to the core. Infact to some extent , the stories in a certain way do reflect the contemporary urban society that is still finding a way to understand the transitional morality of things. Watch it for what it is not for what you want it to be :).

Hey!! Great work!! But can I just say is it not cool that you got to know these two new terms you mentioned. Like it funny when you say please someone explain what is open marriages, but was it not a good start for us rest of 98 per cent people to start pondering about these terms. Also about co-parenting I think that was what the point of the show to normalise pregnancy a little bit. So, for example I was watching an American film from 1920's when there was no sound and there a girl is asked to vacate a house and is public shamed because she became a mother without marriage. And I was like wait it is still rather worse in India in 2020 hundred years later. It is a a scary comparison that still today in India everyone of these things is a taboo. I liked you vedio but just thought might need to share these points. And maybe the first character you talk about and she shaking her boyfriend, maybe there they wanted to talk about something similar of a stance they shared in lust stories but yes not as great execution which made the views fuzzy and thus instead of representing turned into suppressing someone else.

Open marriage, co - parenting are way too ahead for culture which still holds simplicity. This is show clearly misleading towards complicated westernization.
Open marriage ka unnecessary concept bnaya gaya hai unn characterless logon ke dwara jo frequently cheat krte ,usse bachne ke lie yeh terms coin krte hai.
It's fine to show concepts like open marriage, but at the same time showing consequences of such things is equally important, like children growing up neglected and complexed and things like that. Same for hookup culture, they all show how cool and hip it is, but never show how it takes a toll on your mind and emotions.

I have watched the first episode of season one when it was out, and knew this is not something worth my time. Glad I took that decision. I don't know what kind of feminists they want to bring out with this series. I shouldn't be comparing it but 'Made in heaven' too has an urban set up with strong woman leads but in a much sensible way. That show was very closer to feminism which should be promoted.
It's just a spice mixed drama with 4 different stories in it that may or may not be relatable to anyone. Why do we have to find messages and if somehow we end up doing that, why there is this need to analyse it to the core. Infact to some extent , the stories in a certain way do reflect the contemporary urban society that is still finding a way to understand the transitional morality of things. Watch it for what it is not for what you want it to be :).

Great work!! But can I just say is it not cool that you got to know these two new terms you mentioned. Like it funny when you say please someone explain what is open marriages, but was it not a good start for us rest of 98 per cent people to start pondering about these terms. Also about co-parenting I think that was what the point of the show to normalise pregnancy a little bit. So, for example I was watching an American film from 1920's when there was no sound and there a girl is asked to vacate a house and is public shamed because she became a mother without marriage. And I was like wait it is still rather worse in India in 2020 hundred years later. It is a a scary comparison that still today in India everyone of these things is a taboo. I liked you vedio but just thought might need to share these points. And maybe the first character you talk about and she shaking her boyfriend, maybe there they wanted to talk about something similar of a stance they shared in lust stories but yes not as great execution which made the views fuzzy and thus instead of representing turned into suppressing someone else.
